just finished my medicals today....
nothing to worry...just basic examinations......but my doctor asked me and my husband what is our intended work/occupation once we land in canada :....

tests included are
1. Physical examination
2. X-ray Chest
3. Urine Routine
4. HIV
5. VDRL

What is VDRL please? I am not good with medical terms. Thank you

I am concern about my UK resident permit due to expire in september. I have to pay £3,000 to UK immigration. I paid £750 2 years ago for the same visa. UK authorities have increased the fees twice since then. Many thanks to Canada whose fees have been the same over a decade or thereabout. Its just that the UK govt has identified immigrants as one of their revenue sources to offset UK debts. God will help us in this land.
