Wow i didnt know that IN PROCESS was after RBVO coz i never had RBVO on my ecas. I hope you are right.

Thanks :)
Leo

This is normal, Leo. It hs hapened to lots of applicants, us included.
Our file said IN PROCESS right after our PER was received, with the additional info saying 'Your application was received on 7.9.10' and remained at this status for ages. Eventually, it changed to RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE. So, you should assume that this IN PROCESS is just the initial message hat everyone seems to be getting when their file is first added to ECAS. Sometime after the PER, you will see it change to RBVO and then it will change to IN PROCESS again and will actually mean it! :D

Hi, i got my PER today, after much delay due to need to furnish CIO with General training IELTS (i applied with Academic, earlier). It would be appreciated if i am reverted to the tracker, as i am presently on the inactive users spread. Thanks

Let's walk before we can run and settle for a 2nd AOR?

If they get to the end of March without any Damascus/Buffalo/London applicants getting 2nd AORs then this level of discrimination by country of origin is bordering on procedural unfairness.

I might get angry. They won't like me when I an angry - I turn green and my shirt rips open..... >:(

Wayne.

Oh yeah, and my gran just died.

Wayne.

I just checked my E cas and my address was gone. still with the same details though :o

Sorry for your loss, Wayne =(

I'm not sure you'd have much luck with the procedural unfairness route. Each visa office seems to basically be it's own little bubble right now.

What about avbbs, Pradeepkumar_v, CanadaJimmy and edong? edong you state yours is in process? is this still the case? I had mine inprocess when ecas was being updated but went back to CIO Review complete.

Wow, hope Buffalo VO wakes up too.

The thread has like 10 new pages everytime i see. Boy this thread grows fast. Well i hope Buffalo hurries things up too. :)

Btw my ecas doesnt say CIO ER Complete. Mine just says IN PROCESS and when i click on it it says we recieved your application on this date and sent you a letter on this date. :|

No change in the status for me. Was really hoping to have the medical requests by the end of February, but now I'm thinking the 2nd AOR is probably going to come around the 8th April, matching the 33 weeks CIC stated on the phone originally.

Hi green giant ;)

Thoughts are with you at this sad time

Sorry for your loss...

Why are you so anxious about the process, Wayne?
There are people applied for PR in 2007 or 2008 and still waiting, we already got PER's and waiting for VO notify us of further processing. And how long it took us to get to this stage? Mere 3 to 4 months.
Why should VO throw everything aside and work on our apps?

I mean, i am very demanding person, probably many complain of me in real life because if things don't go as they should I do put some effort trying to figure out why and if there is anything can be done to fix it.

But why fix something that isn't broke?

When we demand something of the other party, before putting our demand forward we should ask ourselves just how reasonable we would have felt such demand was if we were a neutral third party observing the events from aside or even the one who is on receiving end.

We are all waiting for the progress of our files. We all may wish it took a day to process and two to get a maple leaf in a passport. But can we seriously stage a mass protest in front of Canadian embassy for our wishes not coming true in 72 hour time span?

Try to see it both ways, from different perspective. try to understand that they have loads of work and apps sent 4 already being transferred to VO with PER COMPLETE is a HUGE leap forward in comparison to past.

Why not give credit and appreciate when it's due?

Again, very sorry for your family loss and wish you all the consolation and peace.
Not worrying too much about this app process may not make things worse for you, so i hope you do not take what i wrote above in the wrong way.

Regards,
Canada0801

Sorry for the loss wayne

I pray that london VO would now start processing the applications on their hand. Maybe they'll do the same like in ND where MR, RPRF and PPR are requested all at the same time..
