Same over here, status: received by VO
& yeah... please.. come on London..
& to make up for the lost time, please send us everything at once like ND VO..
please please
:)

Based on pre-June-26 experiences, London do things the traditional way where they will ask only for med requests, and only issue PPR if medical results are in order. I think it's pretty much only New Delhi that asks for passports.

Tbh I think I prefer the traditional method, since then you are only without your passports for a maximum of a few weeks rather than potentially several months as with the New Delhi system.

Vancouver seems like a marvelous city to be in..

they say that it doesn't have many job opportunities

what do you think?

Congrats Aaycee :)

hi Fighter

Singapore applicant as well, now you are the second one from Singapore VO got this letter. This is really wierd, only singapore side is asking for PCC alone, other visa offices like Manila or ND, they will ask MC too! Kind of annoying, also Singapore VO is the only office mentions a second

Hi Hope2011....
Really this feels very bad...don't understand what's going on in our VO's mind...it looks like that they are the only VO who follows book like as it is Bible....I think its nothing..just killing the time...
Anyway... I have collected my home county PCC 20 days before of my applicaiton submission to CIO...
...the good thing is....today I went to Indian Embassy of my country and after 30 minutes discussion with Mr. Conselor, he told me to apply again for PCC. Normally, they take 45 days to issue but for my case as I have earlier PCC they agree to issue within 3/4 days......hopefully next week I can send the PCC to them by DHL....

Hi Anil, Indira and Wayne,
I have got 120 days time limit for submitting IELTS General Test result and on Tuesday they will receive the Test result at CIO NS.
My current issue is, I have changed my resident from 1st March, can anyone tell me, what is the better method to inform CIO about the address change? email, snail mail or fax?
and Anil, can you please add me in the NDVO spreadsheet as a regular user and IELTS Gen submitted in both International and VOND spreadsheets?
Thanks in advance.
Lawrence

Hi Lawrence,

As with the CIO, i would suggest to use fax as well as the case specific inquiry to inform them of your address change. Added you back to the ND tracker. Please review and give us the missing details.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

No Need for photo negatives now :)

Guys....
Today I have received one letter from Singapore VO mentioning request for additional information. They give a separate file number for my case. and the letter has been issued on 24th Feb 2011.
The requested document is: PCC within 60 days from 24th Feb 2011.
Actually I have been in India for more that 6 months. but while submitting the applicaiton package on July 2011, it was not possible to collect that from India as I am doing full time job and its time consuming to obtain that (also the CAP issue was there in my mind at that time). However, in my applicaiton package I mentioned that if required I will provide that in future.
Later on in Auguest I came to know that I can obtain the Police clearence certificate from Indian embassy of my home country. They are providing this facility. So, I applied and got it in august.
Now, as Singapore VO is required the PCC of that country, I have a doubt that whether that letter is ok or I need to obtain it again from Indian embassay as the letter is almost 7 months old.
Please note that I have submited my home country PCC with my applicaiton package and there is no issue with that.
Please suggest me what to do....

Guys, should we consider this the 2nd AOR from Singapore VO?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Well, there is a point in what you are saying,

but I was hoping they would send us everything as once AND finish it in a matter of few weeks as well :D

is that too optimistic? :)

There is also a disadvantage in submitting the passports before all the checks are done:(. There are just too many people left without passports, for as long as 4 months out of the ND VO.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

& congratulations Amber, welcome in our forum..

congratulations always +ve, happy for you :)
