yah it happens to me also received NER but eventually i received my PER, so send the appeal letter at the fax # given by dr. hasib and hoping for the best. goodluck..

My ecas status was in progress and just now i checked it is again now Received by VO. But teh medical received bug is gone and i can c my home address again in that. So can any one guide me wat is going on ?

I am a bit confused as to how someone is getting 2nd AOR. For instance, my VO is Singapore. Now, some of us are emailing to VO and VOs are acknowledging that they are in possession of their documentation. Is this what we are calling 2nd AOR? Also i have seen that some of them received their acknowledgement via email and some via postal mail. Why is this difference?

Also i posted earlier, but since the thread is going faster than anything - i am asking again - what is the minimum time validity for PCC now? I have my PCC date on Nov 2010 then when its going to expire? Any link from where i can the infos on this.

PCC is valid for 1 year according to CIC EG7 booklet(see page 18)
Singapore VO applicants are currently getting 2nd AOR by post. By the way, whatever is the method of communication (by post or by email)the content of 2nd AOR is same.

your application has been received by VO & processing hasn't been commenced yet. You VO will start processing within few days for sure and your E-cas status will be chaged to "in process".

Finally, my eCAS has just changed to " Received by Visa Office"
Till the moment, i couldn't identify any logical explanation for not changing so far??!! ???
