Ireland need 20 from 18 balls to win. Ah well, at least it's not a proper sport like Rugby... ;)

5 balls to spare is hardly "crushed". More like "scraped".

For definition of "crushed" check out what England are going to do to Ireland in the Six Nations on 19th March :)

I can't check my E-Cas status. I wrote CIC about this issue about 2 week ago. Today I got this answer:

"Dear Sir or Madam,

The updates to the E-CAS (Electronic Client Application Status) system is done automatically by our systems. Unfortunately we are unable to answer technical questions regarding that system. Please refer to the website below for further details and contacts.

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=faq_ecas&lang=en&app=ecas

Thank you.

CB"

Definitely not the answer I was waiting for. I wrote them again but this time to their tech support department.

Keeping in mind the cricketing status of Ireland and England I used the word crushed. And also it was the highest chase in the history of cricket world cup.

That will be on the eve of St Patricks day. Ireland will be going for a Triple Crown then. I will get my Guinness. Cheers

I've found it an interesting read if you have some extra time...
