Hi,

Well I can say from experience that I already know more than some consultants! Been to an immigration fair or two and some of the ignorance of the process displayed by some consultants/laywers is horrific.

Last one I went to, a lawyer (head honcho at Goldman Associates) described FSW1 as a "lottery" saying only 20,000 out of 200,000 applications would get visas so try your luck being one of the "lucky" 10%. He didn't seem to get it that it's the FIRST eligible 20,000 which will be processed, and in any event it's very unlikely that 20,000 will even be reached.

Turns out he was dissing FSW1 because he wanted people to apply FSW2 so that he could also bag loads of cash for getting you a job via his recruitment agency in addition to the visa.

Oh, and he had never heard of an eligibility review!

And I've heard a list of horror stories as long as my arm of the varying incompetencies of immigration lawyers, all charging extortionate rates.

I think with some certainty that quite a few of us know more than quite a few immigration lawyer/consultants. At least when it comes to Federal Skilled Worker.

Hi Indira - no problems at all Doesn't matter if it takes a few days, we just need to communicate with each other so we know what we've done and what we've not done. Will give those marked in red a chance to get themselves unredded (is there such a word as unredded or did I make that up? ) before I move them to the inactive users tab.

Please let me know if you are struggling for time and I can do the other half as well, but will probably have to wait a day or two.

I checked my email lately and have just found that I got my PER on 1st March just like Architect_100. My file also starts with E000 and my BD was encashed on 3rd December. Congrates Architect_100 and all who got there PER, 2nd AOR.

I found that I am no more in the list. Please update my status in List. Thanking you and all of the forum.
