Does anyone know if its true that we will need to pay for landing fee right after we receive the passport with visa? And how much would it be?

Thanks,

If you are referring to the RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fee) it is $495 per person. It is usually payable with medical requests, although I think they will not charge credit card or cash bank draft until the decision is made.

But either way you need to pay it before you land.

Wayne.

I have just check my online status. It has change from 'In Process' to 'Received by Vo'.
But again some wrong word, 'medical result received' , though I have not get any medical request.

Original messge is as below-

"We received your application for permanent residence on August 11, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 24, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

Has anybody experience as mine?

NO! It's 495CAD for each person above 22(or 19?) years of age, and getting a PR visa. The site has wrong info.

Thanks,
