There are 2 types of possible 'in process' status. One for those applicants whose applications have been reached CIO and for others whose applications have reached thr respectice VOs. My guess is in both these categories, the status which is shown there would remain 'in process'.

That's an interesting idea. Ours started out as "In Process" once ECAS was available, and we had already had our PER by this time. Then on 11th February it changed to "Received by Visa Office" which at the time looked like a step backwards - but if you go "In Process" twice (once at CIO and again at VO) then this kinda makes sense.

Only if it is expires before a final decision is made. IMO visa office will look at the expiry date when they send medical requests and if they feel they won't have enough time to finalise the application then they will ask for new PCC with medical requests. If they feel they have sufficient time then they won't ask for new ones.

We sent our application on 23rd August but we got PCC fairly early in the document-gathering process, around middle of July. So will be touch and go for us, we may have to get new ones in July just depends on processing time at London VO.

Thanks Indira and Wayne...We had applied for our PCC in aug '10...n v submitted our application during mid sep '10....so i guess it will b a touch n go for us too

But as I keep saying - in order to now advise new applicants to include their PCC with their application, CIO must be reasonably confident that most cases will be finalised within 12 months. So although it will be touch and go, I think there is a good chance we could have our visa finalised before the PCCs run out.

Hey folks

Though i've been reading through this thread regularly, i've never had much opportunity to participate in it actively. As a result, i just noticed that my name was removed from the spreadsheet and quietly placed under 'inactive users' :(

I've decided to kick-start my participation by announcing that i had received my PER ;D ;D ;D on 3rd Feb. What kept me from letting you folks know......my sheer excitement i guess ::)

I'd appreciate it if you could add me back to the list.

:) Cheers

Thanks a bunch ladyk! It means that they are valid if they are issued with in 6 months before sending to the Manila VO... I believe and hope that the expiry condition would be the same for all visa offices; atleast, for the london VO :)

Thanks again

Many congratulations :)

Good luck for journey ahead...

Hi - congrats on your PER! :)

The requirement to stay active on the spreadsheet is that you need to post on this thread at least once per month, else users are moved to the inactive tab.

It is very important that the information represents the current situation for users and hence why we don't want to keep users with potentially out of date information on there.

I will re-add you to the spreadsheet tonight when I get back from work (can't do it very easily from work nowadays) if non of the other admins has done it by then.

Best wishes.

Dear Temasek, Kevinca, Kathe and Victory,

When you guys received 2nd AOR from Singapore VO, what email address they are coming from? I would want to have the id on the safe list.

Also why some of us are getting snail mail and some getting email from VO?

Sorry for late reply as just turned it on and saw the post, Singapore VO sent my AOR to me by post and the date of AOR was 17th Feb, but it reached my home on 21st Feb, the contents are identical with Temasek’s AOR.VO issued new file number that started with B0 but different from the previous one provided by CIO. As Temaske’s post, I noticed that Singapore VO has sent AOR via post to the applicants who reside in Singapore and the ones outside Singapore were emailed. I am very glad to know the way Singapore VO used as initially I was worried for the applicants who don’t live/ have local address as if Singapore VO send AOR to them by post, it would take long .As one of the millions of the applicants, I do understand well the emotions and worries of the applicants. For me, we are all in the same boat regardless of country, nationality, race, religion, etc, . So yesterday when I got realize the way Singapore VO used to deliver the AOR, I was simply glad and just shared my thoughts to make my fellow applicants be happy.Good luck!
