So, the PCCs issued in less than 6 months are valid to submit to the VOs:)..

Thanks,

But this could be country (VO) specific...so far only Manila VO has been asking for this type of request.

Hey Indira,

We had submitted our PCC along with our application....would it be required again at the VO ?

Thanks,

Thats strange. Check your surname, date of birth and country of origin? I hope you are not selecting your Visa Office.

Yes doing all those things - Rep Ireland not France

Not really, provided you submitted them to CIO within 3 months of issuance, and you get your Visa stamped within a year(hopefully) of it's issuance, you do not need to procure another set of PCCs.

My guess is it must be the same for all VOs, at least for something as generic as PCCs:).

So far, we have not had any request for PCCs from any other VO. Let's wait and see :)

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Yes me too think so... It would be country specific.

it's not strange :) maybe Paris VO is the next one after Warsaw, Moscow etc. I think you'll be able to check e-cas when yours VO gets your app and open an immigration case in their system - this is the info i got from my VO, because i have the same problem and my PER is dated 8th Feb. Maybe try to contact Paris VO and confirm.

Only if it is expires before a final decision is made. IMO visa office will look at the expiry date when they send medical requests and if they feel they won't have enough time to finalise the application then they will ask for new PCC with medical requests. If they feel they have sufficient time then they won't ask for new ones.

We sent our application on 23rd August but we got PCC fairly early in the document-gathering process, around middle of July. So will be touch and go for us, we may have to get new ones in July just depends on processing time at London VO.

There are 2 types of possible 'in process' status. One for those applicants whose applications have been reached CIO and for others whose applications have reached thr respectice VOs. My guess is in both these categories, the status which is shown there would remain 'in process'.

Thanks. Initially the status was application received, and then it changed to in process, and ther's no PER yet

I understand, so that means CIO has started to process your application now :)

Dear Temasek, Kevinca, Kathe and Victory,

When you guys received 2nd AOR from Singapore VO, what email address they are coming from? I would want to have the id on the safe list.

Also why some of us are getting snail mail and some getting email from VO?

Hi Aakash

This may be of interest to you and others who are utilising Singapore VO.

From the information shared by some of those who received their 2nd AOR from Singapore VO, we noticed the following.

  • The 2nd AOR issue by the Singapore VO has a different content from the one issued by Manila VO. The version issued by Singapore VO has been posted at Page 942.
  • The 2nd AOR will be sent through regular mail if the applicant has a Singapore mailing address. For others it will be sent via email.
  • A new File Reference Number is given by the VO. The new number so far has been a “B0” series.

As at now the above information remains current. Of course, there is always a possibility that things may change later.

Cheers.
