In ECAS system my status: IN PROCESS
We received your application for permanent residence on October 28, 2010.
Medical results have been received. I wonder who sent my medicals
Could be a system error???
What do u think guys

Had a question - I applied under FSW, Sydney NS. Appl received on Oct 22, 2010. Got PER few days back. E status says - In process and it also says medical results have been received, but i didn't send any medical results yet ? Is this normal to have that line or it could be a mistake.

It is here, it is now , I'm so happy, My PER has arrived, just got the e-mail forwarded from my consultant Canada Visa
Yipee, Yipeee, Yipee, exactly 4 months from the date they received my application
Pleeeeeeeeease turn me blue/indigo, now I am all the colours of the rainbow and can see that crock of gold

Dear all,
Today morning I checked my inbox and I am happy to see the first update from FSW Central intake office
I have got UCI & Application numbers "8xxxxxxx & E00xxxxxxx" respectively.
More info as per that email, my bank DD en cashed on November 9th 2010 ( I have sent my application NOC:3142 on Nov 1st 2010 and it got reached there on Nov 5th 2010 ).
Thank you all for your continuous posts and particularly I thank Anil for his advises.

Hi everybody
got my snail mail from NDVO today....
as your application has been determined to be eligible by CIO Sydney you are not eligible for any refund of the processing fee should your application be withdrawn or refused by the visa office.
Processing time: it require an average of 10 months to process at this office. if u hvnot received any instruction from this office 6 months after you submitted ur docu...pl contact this office directly.

Would you mind to post the contents of the letter you received? Looks like ND VO sends out AORs by snail mails ???.

A case like this may go beyond simply the issue of marriage. I think marriage is being used as an excuse because how can they refuse anybody on marriage when you can easily appeal and prove your marriage?
I think it has to do with the IELTS. A score of 5.5 is rather low. Many people will be called for interviews on this basis to see how well they can really communicate. It is sad anywa to come this far only to be refused. I will advise an appeal if the only reason for refusal is marriage.

, Unfortunately, I have to inform you that I got a negative response from CIC because they weren't satisfied with my letter.. "not provided sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties".
Thank you all for your support , you are great people here. Anyway I won't give up, I will try again on the french side... .

Very unfortunate to hear this SKA . So, you did submit the required reference letters and job duties, and still they did not find enough evidence? Was your job duties aligned to the NOC description?

Unfortunately there are many people in that situation. We may need to wait till there is one successful case before we can advise on what steps to take. I believe it can be submitted once your application reaches the VO and you know your file number but we have to wait and see.

Does it mean that VO received my application? Oh.. my intended destination is Edmonton, Alberta.

One more quick question, the bank letter i had provided to CIO - it now has lower amount of money than previously stated on the letter; however more than what is needed according to the requirements. Will that be an issue now? I have invested some of that money for some cause. Do you think VO reverify the amount with the bank at this stage?

When you guys received 2nd AOR from Singapore VO, what email address they are coming from? I would want to have the id on the safe list.

Also why some of us are getting snail mail and some getting email from VO?

[hi , i have exactly the same dates as yours, and i think it mean that they have received ur application. on the other hand they may ask u to send another account statement in other stages.

I just got my PER yesterday. When my application was submitted through my consultant in Canada to CIO, I only sent 3 of the 4 PCCs, because I was still waiting on the FBI cert. Once I received it I sent it to my consultant in Canada. I just received an e-mail from him to follow-up on the PER, and he advised me that he had now forwarded the FBI PCC to Paris VO.
