Can you tell me , whether DD was encashed of october applicants who have rejected dueto cap being filled. secondly what do you think my chances of getting PER & when?

Hi - as far as I know DD was not cashed for those applicants in October who were rejected due to 1122 cap being filled. Also as far as I know your chances of getting PER if your application arrived after the end of October are pretty close to zero. I am very surprised if CIO cashed your DD.

But this could be a CIO error and if you are very lucky they may count your application within the cap, purely because of their error in cashing the DD - who knows?

Not much to do other than wait it out - you will either get your application back in the post, or you will get an email with a positive or negative eligibility review, but that is likely to take up to 4 months from when your application was received.

Its nice to join in. Received my first PER on the 18th of Feb 2011. This morning my status changed to the foll.

In ECAS system my status: IN PROCESS

We received your application for permanent residence on October 28, 2010.

Medical results have been received. I wonder who sent my medicals
Could be a system error???

There is a probability that some applicants bit the envelop with their teeth to make sure that the flap of the envelop is tightly sealed. CIO's Forensic medicine experts must have analyzed that "Bite mark" to identify DNA ;D
