Just inform! My VOs delivered the second AOR to me via the post on 17th Feb. I believe that you all will also receive your 2nd AOR from the respective VOs soon. Good luck to you all.

Just a wild guess - r the VO's picking up files and sending 2nd AOR or med request based on the NOC in demand; else how would anyone explain same VO issuing 2nd AOR to an applicant who recd PER at a later date than the earlier ones

IMO they will start looking at applications strictly in the order they arrive at visa office. However, it's likely the application for a range of dates (several weeks) will arrive at the visa office on the same day, as a batch delivered by diplomatic courier.

Since they would then all be date stamped on the same day, the order those applications are looked at may vary. And also, since we think background checks (checking documents are authentic and if necessary peforming employment eligibility review) are done prior to medical requests - it is far to assume that some background checks will take longer than others. Some may only take 30 mins if everything is in order - others will obviously take a lot longer (days to weeks) if things need checking out.

I believe that CIO will perform employment verification checks on a small % of randomly selected applications, to act as a deterrent for fraudulant job references, and also on any applications where they are unconvinced by the reference given.

Definitely it is not correct maybe updates are being done.

Its a new process, they take finger prints & DNA (licking the envelope / strand of hair / skin cells) off your form and run it thru a database, make a comparison with a DNA match closest to the VO and judge your application.

All a part of the new fast track process.

There is a probability that some applicants bit the envelop with their teeth to make sure that the flap of the envelop is tightly sealed. CIO's Forensic medicine experts must have analyzed that "Bite mark" to identify DNA ;D

These comments just go to show how frustrating the wait is...

In that case, the PER date is no longer relevant as for the VO the entire batch is recd on the same date by some diplamtic courier. Its a mystery really cause I am unable to really understand I repeat that later date PER receivers are getting the 2nd AOR and earlier ones are not.

Just checked again - still "Received by VO" and no medicals line in the details page.

Hopefully the Tuesday update will iron out any creases. Concerning that the bug has slipped back in again though.

DOnt worry about "Medical received status".
This is indeed a system error. Mine and many others Ecas have been showing the same message.
CIO usually fix this problem on Tuesday
