But the visa offices have also had 6+ months since the new rules came out of receiving no new FSW1 applications, and so this hopefully has enabled them to catch up most of the >Feb 2008 backlog.

I think we'll get medical requests between March and May (hoping April at the latest) and I think we'll get visas by July at the latest.

Hi, not at all. I am saying that the visa offices did not receive any applications from applicants who applied after June 26 until December/January - so this 6 months of not receiving new applications (just pre-June-26 applications) hopefully enabled them to catch up.
