+1 from me for the realistic calculation, I think the time frame for London and New Delhi VO are most likely to be same.

It's not the slowest in the world, in fact in a recent survey it was voted #12 out of 44 visa offices for efficiency. It is a very BUSY visa office and they won't be the fastest, but I don't think they will be as slow as you think. They had a massive influx of applications around April to June 2010 at CIO of almost 100,000 - and this has been taking its toll at the visa offices. But the visa offices have also had 6+ months since the new rules came out of receiving no new FSW1 applications, and so this hopefully has enabled them to catch up most of the >Feb 2008 backlog.

I think we'll get medical requests between March and May (hoping April at the latest) and I think we'll get visas by July at the latest.

I also believe that post-June-26 applications will get some kind of priority at the visa office. As we can see some Manila applicants are only waiting 3 weeks between PER and 2nd AOR. Canada can't respond to immediate labour market demands if they take a long time to issue visas to people whose skills are in the current demand list. This, coupled with the fact that CIO ask people now to include PCCs with their application, means I think CIO are confident that the vast majority of applications will be finalised within 12 months.

Hi SatishMan,

Dont worry about the Ecas status , irrespective of the status ,in ND VO the processing priority is given by the file transfer dates or the PER dates , this is the case with applicants from 2008 till june 26..

You should worry only if you see a Decision made status with rejection in the details ..
