Hi nursemich, where are you having your medical exam and how did you get the sched, by appointment? Can you share please?

It seems that the october group is a big group, thats probably the reason why CIO is stuck for a while..

Congratulations to all those who have received PER!!

Hi,

Thanks to upate the sheet.

After lunar new year holiday, I hope that Taipei Visa Office will speed up post626 processing. They ranked # 1 out of 44 visa posts. Let's wait and see if they deserves this glory. ;D

VISA OFFICE
TAIPEI, TAIWAN

(CIC region: Asia / Pacific)

staff: 4 Canadian based / 17 local staff
last internal audit in July 2008
ranks # 1 out of 44 visa posts

The mission in Taipei only processes applications from Taiwan. With more than 60,000 visas issued, the mission is one of the biggest issuers of temporary resident visas (TRV). The office processes around 2500 permanent resident applications a year and is the most efficient of all CIC offices, coming out first in the ranking. The average processing time for spousal sponsorship applications is only 2 to 4 month - a #1 top ranking.

Sounds to me as if Taiwan has a great Public Relations Department as well! What a nice email they sent!!! They've earned #1, I think!

I would like to inform you that I got file # B0578***** few weeks before in reply of the status inquiry
Using this # I could not able to logged in ECAS (Msg: "We are not able to identify you using the information you provided")

Now after getting PER I got another # starting with E00 and can logged into ECAS.
So for those who have the same # starts from B05 and not able to logged in to ECAS, wait till you won't get new #

Hope this info help others.
