thanks

Done :)

Hi everyone,

I am some work related travel coming up in the next few months. I am really worried about getting my medicals request when I am not here. Any idea how long it takes for the Delhi VO to process and send the request for medicals?

Visa the main CIC web site find the web site for your CHC and you fill a form in online (it's not an actual email address, just an online form).

Wayne.

Thanks again Wayne, this info was pretty useful. :)

Post receiving your PER, we assume it may take anywhere between 4-8 months to get your Med request...you will have to be doubly concious of the fact that there shall be no email intimation for the Med request and it will be sent through snail mail.

i guess the timeline is somewhere between 4 to 6 months....since it comes by post / snail mail, i guess the situation could get tricky.....how long will u b gone ? Do u stay alone ?

Thanks Rohan, Shareen.

I was not aware that it arrives by snail mail. My travel might be for about 2 to 3 months. So I think I might be back before the request arrives.

Hi CalVdS:

Thanks for the information. I realize you are FSW2, but during the meeting, did you happen to hear or get a feel for how long the specialist thought the process would take for FSW1 applicants?

Thanks,
Cam
Hey Cam1234,
The processing time given in the presentation was 6-12 months for FSW (other then Québec.)

This is the same as quoted on the Paris VO website where they say "in Paris" but also give the following statement: " We are currently experiencing delays in the first steps of processing for permanent residence applications. Please be assured that the total processing time remains unchanged", from which I take it that those 6-12 months are the total processing time, CIO and VO combined (I interpret the "first steps of processing" to be those performed by CIO...)

On the CIC website, processing times for Paris are given as 11 months for pre-26 June applicants so I guess they are anticipating the new procedure will speed things up at least a couple of months for straightforward cases. Of course, I'm an optimist so...
By the way, don't be fooled by the few applicants via Paris VO on this forum. They have ma very large number of applications to process but the bulk of those are French speaking. The presentation in Brussels was also unilingual French, as if Belgium is a French speaking country, pff. ??? Of course it's not a country at all, but TWO countries.

hello.... help please ??? ??? ??? :-\ :-\ :-\

i sent my application last week on 6th february, but found that i did mistake in my PO-BOX; i wrote 21666 unstead of 22166 , help me plase and tell me what i have to do ??????

waiting for ur answer dear brothers :'( :'( :'(

HI ALL

Ok 2 things

1) I have done an audit of the first 100 rows of the spreadsheet, and have marked in red anyone who has not posted on the thread for 1 month or more. Please post here in the next day or two to de-red yourself otherwise your entires will be moved to the inactive users sheet.

2) I have added another column for eCAS Status Date Last Updated. Whenever someone changes someone's status, please put the date you change it :) I have added some of the dates based on member's posts for the first 100 that I have been auditing (will get the rest of the dates on there as I get time to do it).

I will try to get the rest of the audit done later, it's rather time-consuming so I am only proposing to do this once every 2 or 3 weeks or so.

Have a nice day.

Wayne.

Hey Wayne,
Thank U very much indeed for selflessly putting a lot of time and effort into tidying the sheet on a Sunday. You have always been of great help to forumers and your help and support is truly appreciated.

Wish you best of luck and a smooth cruise to Canada.

You too have a nice day! :)

Thank you CalVds, your information is very reassuring. For everyone's information, I was also in contact with roseapple08, this is the April candidate from Taipei VO who also had an application submitted post June 26.

roseapple08 has a 2nd AOR in the first application submitted in April and just received a PER from the second one submitted post June 26. Taipei VO confirmed that the applicant needs to withdraw one of the applications and that the second one, submitted post June 26, would be the one processed faster...

I find this amazing because if the applicant has a 2nd AOR, it means the application is already at VO being processed, however, we all know that after a PER it takes a few months for the application to reach VOs. After considering the above circumstances, the Taipei VO still advised to drop the April application. Best of luck roseapple08 :)

We can only hope,
Cam
