Thanks for your reply. I guess they are modifying the system and working on it. It will be accessible with more reliable info as of Monday or Tuesday I guess as they have said they would shut down the system on Sunday. Some updating is underway.

Got an email dated feb.4 from Manila Visa Office stating that they received my documents from Canada.

Hmm I misread the tweet on CIC, the offline is only going to be for 4 hours, not the entire day:
"CIC online services will not be available on Sunday, February 13, 2011, from 8:00 a.m. EST to 12:00 p.m. EST"

Still, there are still signs of promise of updates status!

unless you receive your file number or client id number from CIO, u will not be able to check ur e-cas status....check with wwics as to whether they have received any mail from CIO on your behalf....

my file no E00.....

Yesterday when i opened my e-cas status, it showed that your doc received date 6th Oct only but Nothing was there. when i checked it in TNT track it shows that received on 7th Oct at SYDNEY by Miller.But today e-cas show Application received.Please explain some more.

I wouldn't read too much on the difference of one day. E Cas too is not known to be the best in terms of actual status - not too worry! They are having a huge maintenance on Sunday for E CAS , my best guess is if you hold on till Tuesday you'll get a clearer picture!

I don't believe this.. I GOT A NER .. Damn.. They didn't give me points for relationship b'cos my brother is currently not residing in Canada.. I should have used my Aunt's citizenship documents.. I hope 1122 will be included in the list for 2011-12... will have to wait and see..

I wish all the best to everyone who got their PERs .. For me the waiting just got longer...

Please don't take this message as a dampener. First of all - You believed a consultant ...that too WWICS.... OKl, I can understand till this point. AND the application got rejected..... though WWICS . .... so surprising as they claim their consultancy to be fool proof ..... ... How come they missed the BC issue....

On the top you still went ahead with them ...... WWICS - Wadde Wadde International Chor Saale ..... Sorry, my rant is over now. I (and scores of people like me) had a very horrible experience with them.

Be after WWICS for every query..... make them realize that YOU have paid them.... and not asking these services for free... You require your Immigration File # (generated by CIO - starting with B or E; & not the file # provided by WWICS) to know your e-cas status.

Really sorry to hear bad news Westwards

Anyway all is not lost. There is still a chance that 1122 will be on the list next year, and even if it is not you can still explore FSW2 with job offer, or provincial nomination.

If your Aunt is resident in Canada can she not sponsor you via the Family Sponsorship route?

In my experience immigration lawyers and consultants are only fool proof in the sense that they regularly prove that they are fools

The sheer and unforgiveable level of professional incompetence I have witnessed from feedback from some users on this forum makes we wonder why some of these consultants were not shut down for extortion and professional malpractice a long time ago.
