Hi Indira,
I got it when I made a specific inquiry to CIC to gain update late in January!
They replied to say it was under review and gave me the B file number as an information i guess.
I suspect when you'll receive your PER it will state a new number starting with E00

So, is the IN PROCESS status still on? Or just Application received?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

The status is In Process. When you click on it, it says, Application received on 20th Sept.

Ok - reading all the opinions and posts so far. I think those whose ECAS status reads "CIO ER complete" or "Application Received" have a number starting E000, i.e. they are on the new GCMS. Those who just say "In Process" have a number starting B057, i.e. they are still on CAIPS.

I am thinking perhaps this big shutdown of ECAS on Sunday is to upgrade those applicants on CAIPS across to GCMS, or port their data across to ECAS?

Will see on Monday morning, or Tuesday if that's when they do the update.

Wayne.

Nope, my file number is B057 and the ecas states CIO-S eligibility review completed. I think the E00 numbers may be issued by the VOs when they communicate with us. Most of the newer applicants however, do seem to be getting the E00 directly.

dear forumers
I rerceived my PER 2days ago in the letter it says to inform the VO of any changes like birth of a child and does not mention to wait for VO to send you AOR and then inform them I have sent an email to damascus VO regrading birth of my son and received no reply yet.what els do u think I should do?shall I fax them? please help

Ours says IN PROCESS as I believe does everyone else from July/August/early September whose number beings B057.

However, they are shutting down ECAS for an entire day on Sunday for 24 hours, so I am guessing there is some big update happening. It would not be unreasonable to think it is something with moving people over from CAIPS to GCMS.

Hmm well let's see what changes (if anything) after Sunday's 24-hour ECAS shutdown :)

Hi Indira, you also missed my answer. The email regarding the request for Medicals was received a few days after I have emailed them about the changes in the employment details of my husband. In addition, I have informed them about my profession, that it is regulated, and that I need to take an exam in Canada on June, I mentioned to consider my application as fast tracked so as not let the opportunity pass to be a registered nurse in Canada. I guess that really facilitated the process of my application.

Hi, did you inform them the changes in the employment details of your husband post receiving the 2nd AOR? Cos in my case too I need to inform the VO about my change in job hence can I do that before getting the 2nd AOR?

This waiting is killing me. But, I should probably prepare myself for a long, long wait just like Made711, because we are from same country. ???

Once again, congrats everybody with PERs, hope to get mine soon!

My company (I am spouse, not PA) was bought out by another company recently, so although I am doing the same job my company's name has changed. We simply sent a case-specific query to London CHC giving them the details. They sent a response back saying they'd made a note on their file and that a visa officer would review it. We're hoping this means they do have the paper file.

I guess they will let us know if they want any further details, but the main thing I think is to inform them.

Wayne.

My ECAS status is still "IN PROGRESS", and when I click on it, the next page shows "We received your application for permanent residence on September 21, 2010."

Does it mean my files are received by the VO?

BTW, my PER starts with B05. I guess I'm the last batch of that, since I'm the only B PER in my day...
