Nursemich did not receive medical requests via email as an attachment. She merely received notification by email that they sent medical requests to her, by snail mail. She only received an email because she had enquired about her status. We think normally VO will not email you AND snail mail you, they will just send med requests by snail mail.

OK I added a column for first 3 digits of file number, and also split note and eCas status into 2 separate columns. Go knock yourselves out ;)
Wayne.

Hello Dear Wayne, Anil, Indira
My file number starts with B057 and the ecase status shows InProcess (with details that we have received your application on ... August 2010). I did not send PCC with my application. Kindly update. Thanks and regards to all.

Regarding My application number please some one update me E00

Just checked E-CAS again and it says your application was received on 20th September for me. My DHL tracking had 13th sept as delivery date as i had send via DHL on 8th of Sept. The CC encashment date as per PER and my CC statements match on 23 sept.

The PER does'nt mention the application received date.

The spreadsheet administrators may want to amend the spreadsheet to reflect my correct application received date and move me lower.

Ok - reading all the opinions and posts so far. I think those whose ECAS status reads "CIO ER complete" or "Application Received" have a number starting E000, i.e. they are on the new GCMS. Those who just say "In Process" have a number starting B057, i.e. they are still on CAIPS.

I am thinking perhaps this big shutdown of ECAS on Sunday is to upgrade those applicants on CAIPS across to GCMS, or port their data across to ECAS?

Will see on Monday morning, or Tuesday if that's when they do the update.

Wayne has answered this :).

Yes, the VO will not send an email to confirm they have sent medical requests. We will have to keep an eye on the post boxes :)

Thanks,

So, is the IN PROCESS status still on? Or just Application received?

How did you get the file number?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Ah I had not realised this was in response to a query.

Does this mean that we most people might expect just to get med requests in the mail, with no email confirmation first?

Wayne.

I don't know, maybe we should all write to our VOs telling them we are taking the same exam as Nursemich... ;)

@ Spokes, please could you confirm how you got your file number? It might be that he/she got it from a previous application?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Hi Indira,
I got it when I made a specific inquiry to CIC to gain update late in January!
They replied to say it was under review and gave me the B file number as an information i guess.
