Dear Ladykiller

What a way to motivate the entire forum members ........ Do you think we are sitting here only for this work. Not even a day has gone by .... and you are giving such statements with in few hours. My dear friend , writing LOL at the end won't suffice....

On the other hand making such horrible comments, whether it is in your signature or in your posts are totally uncalled for. I did enjoy few of your posts ..... BUT one can tolerate till certain level, there has to be a limit. Moreover sending livid messages /PMs to other members, comments based on gender, is very cheap. Please keep your filthy ideas in your dirty mind ....... what I mean to say is don't post it on this public forum.

We are here to help each other with positive talks. And if you can't help then please don't kill the spirit and energy of this thread by posting what you did in your dreams.....

Cheers, Anil

Friends,

E-Case Status is changed from "In Process" to "Application Received". Does this mean, VO has received the application from CIO?

Some more quick questions guys,

1) In regards to PCC, it is said that it has to be no more than 3 months old. Does it stand true for a country PCC in which I have not visited in last 5+ years! I need FBI clearance from USA, it takes around 3 months to get it.Does not make sense to get it once again [i have one dated Nov 2010] even though i did not travel to that country anytime recently. Also we do not know when we will get the requests from VO for PCC, how can we calculate 3 months time frame? Also the applicants who have already turned in their PCC with application to CIO - after almost 4-6 months to receive PER and any sort of communication from VO, are their PCC still valid or VOs will ask for them again?? Even i am not not sure when to ask for a PCC for my home country as it takes a month to get one here as well.

2) Its taking around 4 months to receive PER now. People who are writing to their respective VOs are getting reply - can we term it as 2nd AOR/PER or just a reply to a query? What is an official 2nd AOR/PER? When it comes - with the request of PCC and medical?

3) Some applicants are getting reply from VOs to send another set of application [a pre June 26th practice]. However, do Post June 26th Applicants also need to create a set of application for the same purpose? I am not sure as i need to collect University transcripts from USA once again and its from 3 different universities. Also getting another work reference letter from my US employer would be hectic as i am not there anymore.

Any idea guys?

IMO they are probably correcting mistakes, as they did with the medicals thing. Someone whose PER was received 8th February cannot realistically have their paper files with visa office already, therefore they cannot be in process at the visa office yet.

My guess is that when PER is issued it should be "Application received" and then will be "In process" once the visa office receive it.

Regarding your other queries

1) Really not sure sorry. Could applicants from USA advise here?

2) 2nd AORs seem to be coming irrespective of whether or not people write to their visa offices. I strongly advise everyone NOT to write to visa office until there is genuine cause for concern or you need to update them with change of address/job etc. Otherwise the only thing people will achieve is to slow things down.

3) Several people have had this in error, and the visa office have later written asking them to disregard it. This I think is just a teething problem with the IT side of things at visa offices, adapting to the new process.

Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete.....this is the latest ecas update on my application.....

hello everyone,

A friend of mine introduced me to this forum and I wouldn't have known there is such as this that exists and I was amazed how everybody contributes and help each other. I'm a newbie, so, i am not sure if im doing the right thing here, actually.

But let me tell you about my application for PR...which is probably a little different than most of you guys here.

I am already in Canada. I'm a Filipino and I have been working here in Edmonton, Alberta for 3 years now as a Temporary Foreign Worker.
I have decided to apply for Permanent Residency just recently. I submitted my application November 11, 2010 and CIO-NS received it on November 15, 2010.

Now, i was hesitant to try the ECAS, since I thought I would'nt be able to access that because I don't have a file number yet and I was chicken to see how my application was. :-[

Then last night, I tried entering my information on the ECAS, and since I'm a foreign worker here, I already have a Client ID number. That's what I used to retrieve any information about my application and last night it showed "IN PROCESS". I was so ecstatic, I felt relieved that I got through before the cap. And that was my biggest worry, if I got through or not, since I haven't heard anything from CIC.

Now tonight, I checked again, and the status was changed to "APPLICATION RECEIVED".

I'm just posting, so at least I could give you guys an idea how far along the CIO are working on our applications, and as well as to give relief to other applicants who has not heard from CIO yet.

I only have a concern though, if there is any difference between the two statuses, the "IN PROCESS" and the "APPLICATION RECEIVED"??? And how come it changed overnight?

I am thankful to all of you already.. :)

Dear friends,

Can any one tell me that wat is difference between the status

A. We received your application for permanent residence on August , 2010
c. APPLICATION RECEIVED
D. Eligibility review complete by CIO NS.

Is tehre any one who can highlight the step properly ? I mean to say which one is first and then wat is second step. Is any one around here whose file is complete and if he or she have any idea about ecas status? I mean to say if they can through some light on how the ecas status changes step by step ?

I hope FMA can give us some good idea. but havent seen him since long time.

Dear friends

There is alink also given under the ecas status which give us the guide line about teh procedure and i hope its also usefull but most of us status is in process and teh VISA OFFICE ELIGIBILITY REVIEW COMPLETE is missing and we are direct come to IN PROCESS.

So does it mean that our file is now at our VO and the eligibility review is complete by VO ?

Is there any news about this point by seniour ? here is the link as well

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_wrkr&lang=en&app=ecas
So kindly give some idea about it.

Thanks
