Good Morning

Your submission is currently under review by our office. You will be contacted in due course.

There is no file number. Hope this is not an indication of a NER.

Best luck,

Pardis,
Thank you for your words of encouragement. Now that they have started processing october applications, its a bit scary to get a reply without a file number. I will wait. It will not be very long till I receive my PER as oct 14 got a PER within the week.

shalom,
I have called CIC and i got my file number , although i had a file number but in thier email they didnt mention that ....now i can check on ecas and it said "IN PROCESS" maybe u can try to call them and ask them ur client number ....

MY E-CAS status has just a one liner " We received your application for permanent residence on August 6, 2010"

Probably this is the way ND VO wants to say to you that your file is under processing, they might not want to communicate via email specially when there is no new file number being issued with the communication, this is just my thinking..

Bindu

E-cas status has now medical received removed but it still says -

We received your application for permanent residence on August 5, 2010.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 23, 2010.

I wonder how many of our forumers have the additional second line mentioned like mine.

I thought so too... but another member from Buffalo received this from CIC to his query regarding incorrect E-Cas Status..

***Please do not send us e-Cas screens, e-Cas is for applications processing within Canada only.

Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) does not reflect the status of cases being processed in Buffalo.***

Now, I'm truly confused as to the purpose of the system.

Congratulations Anil :) :) Finally you have acknowledge much awaited PER...

Cheers to you! Raj.

I've sent enquiry to CIO regarding my E-CAS status, as i still have no access to my file,

and got reply this afternoon, amazingly they are working on Saturday ;)

......Upon review of your file there appears to be nothing adverse. The E-CAS system can take some time to update.....

Congrats Anil..

Hope the PER was hand deliered as a show of respect from CIC for you as per your signature earlier ;)

God Bless you,

Cheers

Congratulations to all new PERs...... Special CONGO to Anil.....and thanks to him and all other seniors to give great guidelines for making smooth process...

Dear friends,

Our documents are received on October 13th, 2010
Our visa office in Damescus and NOC is 1122

We are a bit worried that whi we have not received our file Number from VO.
Is there anybody who can help us?

Dear Friend,

I think they are wrong in saying that E-CAS would not reflect VO updates, I believe VO officials also have access to update the status but it will not be on real time basis , VO might be slow in updating the ECAS but surely they will as we have seen with the ecas status of the people who have got medical requests and passport stamping..

Probably CIC wants the applicants to patient so that we learn to lead a life full of patience in Canada :D ;) ;) :)

Regards
Bindu
