Here's another page I found on the CIC website - extremely informative in terms of statistics!

Shalom1, yes it was done in her name, but because I am the one personally active on this forum, I always refer to myself as the applicant. Both applications were in her name.
For sure, we are not going to withdraw the old application, until we are asked to do so. Usually the VO would ask you at a later stage to withdraw one of the applications, and that is usually when they are set to issue the PR.
Thanks for your concern Bro. Greetings to your family.

Naija Pikin,
I now understand. In my case, the first was in my wife's name and the new one in my name.
All the best

Hi everybody,

I'm just curious....is there anyone who has applied with an AEO in this thread?
We are applying with an approved AEO, send in the application with all the paperwork in december to Sydney, on 18th of january our fee was collected from our credit card.
CIC is saying you will have a fast track process when you are applying with AEO so.....
Anyone?

Kind regards,
Louise!

There are a handful of people who have applied with AEO, and the process looks like almost the same for FSW1 and FSW2. The time-lines are not significantly different.

Please have a look at the below spreadsheet for details.

There is no fast track process when applying with AEO. May be you are confused with the Canadian Experience and PNP categories which target the TWP resident in Canada.

It has been slightly more than two months since first PER was received by our friends here (23rd of November 2010).

It is high time now to hear something from VO in regards to their application. Cheers

Both work for me:

when using the UCI number, make sure you select client ID from the drop down

if you have a bxxxxx / Exxxxx number select immigration file number.

Hi royalman

Its too early to start vouching for the BD status. In my opinion start not before Feb end.

For this I'd suggest you to approach the branch from where you got the DD(should be some foreign exchange branch) for your application. Most banks get it done from the Mumbai branch so no surprise in that. I feel you need to follow up with the right persons, at the right position. Which bank actually drew the BD could be UBI as well as it operates internationally. If yes should be easy for them to track.

Good Luck!
:)

Hello Friends.
I have a question from forum mates from India. I got BD from Union Bank of India. However my locan branch is unable to tell me if my BD has been encashed. They told me BD is only issued by that branch and the bank has a tie up with Nova Scotia bank which actually honors the BD. NS bank transacts with some branch in Mumbai. Hence local branch has no knowledge about it.

What can I do in this situation. My goal is to know if my application was complete. It was delivered to CIC on Jan 6, 11 at 6 pm. Please say what can Ido.

I used the Client ID Number and it worked fine

When are we likely to get contacted by the VOs...its been more than 3 weeks since I received file #? Also what are they likely to mail an applicant, is that a check-list stating the docs needed further or somethig more?

Many thanks forumers :)
