Something more seems to be added to the ecas i suppose. Not sure whether this statement was there when i check my online status last week.

We received your application for permanent residence on August 9, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

"Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 23, 2010.

Does every have this details mentioned in their status?

I don't have this in my case it stops at the medical line

may be they will update the system

Amro

This is the date on which i received my PER. So the actual processing has started on this date. I assume that VO and CIC are co-ordinating with each other regarding further process to be done by VO and that we are actually not aware of it. You never know our document check, background and security checks are already being carried out. Once this is complete we may receive medical requests together with the information that they have received our documents.

Hoping...

I received my PER on Nov 23rd as well, but my status doesnt say that additonal line. It only says till 'Medical results have been received.'

Kimwayne: It sounds very positive for you that they have cashed your fees. Providing the explanation in the cover letter was a great idea! Hope you get the PER soon to put your mind at rest.

I could not agree more, like you.I am also worried after knowing some people was not able to made it due to incompleteness. In my case,I was n able to submit my job description and employment certificate but except job contract, because the OIC forgot to provide me one copy before he was on leave for several weeks.

The worst part,at that time,my NOC 3152 increase its figure like tidal wave per week. So,I have no choice but to made a letter and explain my self, and submit my documents to the CIO.They received it last November 9,2010.Then after 6 weeks,I made an inquiry about my status, they inform me last Jan 3,2011,that my papers still under review and several days later, they also informed me that my BD has been cashed already.

Do think, guys I have a chance?Or Do you think I have to inquiry them again about my status?I realized on that chart, those incomplete documents or an acceptable Ielts last December 2010 got their refusal after they inquiry their status.

hi kim..i know what u are goin thru' as the same situation here...

I think we are a little safe with completeness check as our BD encashed... :) as I was going thru' the spreadsheet and noticed that those with incomplete applications, it was returned mostly before encahment...

only those with insufficient points or work experience were returned after encashment.....

these are my assumptions and I just think of this to make me feel better...people may think otherwise....

keep up the high spirits people...

thanks

Many thanks my friend. Wish you a speedy PER and good luck in your PR process.

One more thing i wanted to inform. I dont know whether anyone has checked this or not.

After you click on the "In Process" tab a new window opens which has three different links. Applications after 26 Feb and application to Nova Scotia. The "In process" has totally different explainations for "In Process". Applications to Nova Scotia means papers received by VO and background checks done. Please note what i have written here are not the exact words. I suggest everyone check this out to know what is the current stauts of our application after ecas shows "In Process"

Would you mind to cut paste the exact wordings relating to 'In Process' for the post June 26 applicants to CIO, NS?

+1 from my side for breaking news :)

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
