Hi!!All,

I have been a silent follower of this forum since the very beginning. Finally i hv decided 2 join.I have applied under NOC 1122 from Mumbai. My application was received by CIC on Oct 11th.Since the last few weeks i have noticed tht many applications hve been rejected bcos of 'No birth certificate'.This has got me worried as I too have not submitted my birth certificate as i do not have one.I assumed tht a passport,10th certificate etc. are proof enough for my DOB.
Can anyone advice me as to wht i can do to avoid a NER on the grounds of 'No birth certificate'.Can i send an affidavit confirming my DOB or anything else.PLSSSSSSSSSS HELPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Friend,

First sorry that your file has been returned due to birth certificate. Here I want to tell you that in the earlier stage they were returning the file because of no birth certificate. But Now they are taking the file.
Another is this we can get the NON AVAILABILITY CERTIFICATE form municipal corporation which will resolve our issue.
I resubmitted my file with NON AVAILABILITY CERTIFICATE and affidavit also compile my matric certificate and passport to support my birth proof.

This way they are accepting the file.

Dear Forumers,
So after all is it proved that those who's status on ECAS shows "In Process" have passed through eligibility and sooner or later they'll get a PER ?

Thanks Indira_prab for providing me clear information. +1 from me.
But i have one confusion :on this .
3) As far as what i have understood i think i need to make 2 copies of main forms one for CIO check list & other for New Delhi visa office check list right ?
NO. Just one copy of those forms are to be bundled with the CIO checklist. Need not print another copy for the VO checklist.
But As in New Delhi VO Checklist it is mentioned for the all the forms. I am little afraid & confused on it . Lets say if i am not attaching the forms in NEW DELHI VO Checklist then do i need to tick it ? Do you think that it is not going to harm ?
Please advise me on it.
Regards,
Mayank

You will have to check on ALL the boxes(on both CIO and VO checklists) wherever the documents are enclosed, irrelevant of which bundle they are in :). But wise to attach the main forms with the CIO checklist as they are the ones to check and use them first! There is no hard and fast rule though. It all depends on how well you present and organize the application package.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Congrats Mptocanada. on your PER..!!!

regards
Vari

Hello Wayne,
I sent a mail with the PER email and it returned as failed. Pls can you help with email to contact CIO

Thank
Shalom

The email which CIO send a PER is a one-way email address, it cannot be replied to.

For an enquiry to CIO you need to email FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca (without the spaces).

I have added a contact info page to my blog, might make things easier.

Cheers,
Wayne.

Hi,
I am a new member. Application sent on 31.12.10, received at CIC on 6.1.11 at 5 pm. No further news since then. NOC 3111, vo New Delhi. Please add me to the spreadsheet. It is a great forum, congratulations to all who have got PERs.
Please let me know what happens next. Do I get a file number first or PER and file number will be at the same time.
Thnaks.

Mayank,

I would add something. Whenever you lack space for your info (name of the university, degree etc.) add a separate sheet and explain it in full. Always do this even for minor issues.
i have done the following way: checked the CIO list and put it as coverpage (as it is major). Then checked the VO list and made it the second page. And then put all the documents according to their consequence in the CIO checklist, followed by documents left of VO list.
Any additional note I have added to the form it corresponds.

Anyway, even if in your document will be everything in chaos it will work, but will take more time and nerves of your officer.

Indira done a very good job in answering! ;D
Regarding 2 checklists.

Hi,

I believe it depends upon the time when your application was received by CIO. It has been observed that aaplications received around 1st -2nd week of october are accepted without Birth certificate provided you have attached some other document like you High school markscard or passport or some other document indcating you date of Birth.

Regards,
Grasshopper

hmm, seems like CIC has been stuck in 23rd september, when they will start giving PER to October applicants? :(
