It seems that all who already have PERS with IN PROCESS status has a Received date and Medical received status with ECAS and for us who does not have a PER yet but with IN PROCESS status only have Received date

i got a email from cio stating that they need a general ielts
i got my aor on 24th nov...so its kind of weird at this stage...
however i m not upset and ready for the ielts again))

As for us my view CIO should accept both Academic and General Training test on or before 2010-07-26. Now can u tell me the exact date when CIO received your application? and also your IELTS EXAM date.If it its before the OP6 date then it is the mistake of CIO not yours you can explain them so u may not required to give IELTS once again

how were u able to check the status without PER?

I emailed CIC twice and got 2 numbers, Application number (E000000***) and Client ID number (****-****)

I used both at different times and both had an access that says my status is IN PROCESS.....

I got this in FAQ:

Q3: I sent my application a while ago, but there is no record of my application in the system. Why?

A3: Until the visa office or case processing centre to which you submitted your application for immigration or citizenship has begun processing your application, your application status will not be available through CAS.

I don't have a PER yet..... when I click on the IN PROCESS in the ECAS, it only states the date they received my application, no info abt medicals......
