Yes guys. I did it on my own with due credit to all the helpful guys here and without a consultant and got the

PER

just now.
Happy Very Happy. Thank you all.

One gap in the tracker is now BLUE.

Cheers

Way to go! Congratulations!!!

My advice to you

You have the file number now, hope you got that from consultant, please send your letter to CIO explaining the birth certificate issue.

Also mention that initially CIO was not accepting the school certificate as birth certificate but after Indian VO explained them they have started accepting that. May be the guy who checked your application was not aware of that. (this is the information I got from this forum - no official document)

If that is the case you have chances to get reconsidered. I am not sure if your would like to do this yourself without depending on a 3rd party.

Also you have a mail id where you may send your query and explaination fsw-enquiry @xxxx, members here may help you with that.

You are not loosing anything by giving the above try.

Hello Team,

I just got the call from my consultant (WWICS) that my case was refused and came back on 19th Jan'2011. As of now they told me that due to Birth Certificate issue they have refused.

For a moment i thaught that i should not post this message with bad news as all are in happy mood with lots of PERs. Anyway, i have to update you all, so i am doing. Will give you exact reason when i will get documents from consultant.

Thanks
Milan Patel

You must be joking!
I met two people at the IELTS who decided not to go to Canada after receiving their approval (one of them actually did this TWICE and backed out each time) and they did not get their money back.
Quite right, too! Why should they?
CIO have done their bit and if someone is entering into something as serious as this and then changing their mind, that is their problem. I do feel sorry for anyone whose circumstances genuinely change out of the blue, but that is much less likely now the process is quicker than in the bad old days when folk could be waiting for 3 years plus.
Everyone should think carefully before entering into this process and make sure that they are committed to it. It makes me so angry when I see people clogging up the system and then failing to go, changing their minds or going back home soon after landing because they find they don't like it.
We who are serious and have done our research and put our money where our mouths are about this could do without fickle types slowing the rest of us down by using up the valuable time of the immigration system.
Money back? NO!

You haven't asked the reason yet. Those who have decided not to pursue probably doesn't just waste money and time, it is with for a reasonable cause.. In my situation, I also got a very irresistible offer in New Zealand this coming July but asking the question above, doesn't mean I am not serious with my application in Canada, its just that I haven't decided yet which to pursue. I am in the verge of a dilemma right now because I don't want to say to myself some day that I should have chosen the other one.. :(

a bad news from me.after waiting for 125 days today i got NER. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(below is the content of that

"The information that you provided was reviewed. These letters do not specify your main duties.

As such, I am not satisfied that you are a 6241 – Chef or a 6242 - Cook.

Your application, therefore, does not meet the requirements of the Ministerial Instructions".

Hi All,

Just had a talk with my consultant and he said my September case is still open and file number is awaited.

Here is the full story.

I have applied in old rule (36 categories) on April'2010 and due to my consultant (WWICS) forgotten to mentioned VO office name, my case was refused and return back on 23rd June. They have send legal reconsideration to CIO for accepting my file.

On 19th Jan, 2011, my consultant (WWICS) got that old case back. Today morning i called them and customer care executive gave me last status of my case. She told me that my case is refused as she hasn't check whole history. Later they confirmed me that my 23rd September case is still open and file number awaited.

Please ignore my previous message and sorry to all if it creates negative impact.

Thank God. Whole day is fully loaded with lots of up and down. Still hope is there......

Happy for you:) I wish these consultants be a little more serious in their job. They are not dealing with papers & files, but People and their lives ??? (I bet i'll get at least 5 negs for that :P :P, but I DON'T CARE!)

I wish you hear good news soon :)

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

To the spreadsheet updater.
Please turn me to the yellow.
I just got letter from CIO few hours ago to submit a general IELTS result within 120 days.
After I read this thread last several days,I already known that my case will be required the new test result.Although it might be frustrating, honestly I also feel relief since CIO give me a second chance.
Just want you guys know ,I'm going to book the seat for general module on Feb,12.
BTW,Congrat to Queencougar who got PER.You deserved the blue.

Hello there,

I'm sorry to hear this :(. Have you not provided references from the employers as requested in the checklists? I'd suggest you to get proper work references with job duties again and resubmit your application as your NOC is not yet filled up:). May be you can have the work documents ready(Remember to mention your main job duties and that they need to be in par with what they have next to the NOC job description), while waiting for your application to come back. Once you have it, you can immediately send it, so you will still have chances to get the Visas by the end of this year :)

Good luck with your new application.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Good luck for the IELTS Chima :).

Does this indicate that they have laid hands on the applications received upto 27th Oct?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Thank you all for your wishes. It is a great relief to be in this club after the blast of NER's last week and i was being isolated in the sea of blue around me.

But as the wise old man says, better late than never. No complaints. Previlege to be here and it will be a previlege if we all can go to Canada.

Cheers
