Sorry if I missed some people that need adding to the spreadsheet. Just got back to my PC after an evening of tiling in the kitchen, so will try to check back through tomorrow morning. Need to go to bed now!

Gz to all PER receivers once again!

Wayne.

Letter says that "CIO sent you a letter requesting that you submit a complete application package to VO office", but in my PER they didn't request for anything. Moreover its written in PER that VO will contact for further processing.

I am sure this is a mistake, they might have confused you with someone else from pre June applicant. Best option will be to ask for another PER from CIO and see whats really going on with your application.

If this is true than its a good news to everybody. We can be ready to send our original to VO with PCC.

Cheers.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Your application as a Federal Skilled Worker, which was initially submitted to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The CIO recommended your application for further assessment at a visa office and sent you a letter requesting that you submit a complete application package to this office. We have now received your submission.

Our office has created a file for you with the file number: E00000xxxx. Please note that this file number is different than the one that was assigned to you by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this file number in any future correspondence with our office.

Before your application can be placed in processing, our office will make a final determination as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the determination as well as a refund.

If your application is determined to be eligible for processing, processing will begin on a priority basis.
Applications in the Federal Skilled Worker category require an average of 8 months to process at this office.

Once your application has been assessed, you will receive further instructions from this office. Please do not contact this office to request a status update unless 8 months have passed since you submitted your complete application.

Interview
If an interview is required, you will be notified of the appointment for your interview, if required, approximately 2 months prior to the date of the interview, and you will be provided with further instructions at that time.

Non-resident applications
If you or any of your accompanying family members are not normally resident in the area of responsibility of this office, then you should be aware that there may be additional delay in the processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada. This delay will result from the need to refer your case to the Canadian Immigration office which is responsible for the country in which you or your family members normally reside. This referral is necessary to verify any information that you have provided with your application, or for advice concerning qualifications or other matters of a local concern that should be taken into account when assessing your application.

Let us know
If there is a change in your personal circumstances, such as the birth of a child, a marriage or divorce, you have to let us know (see address, fax number and email address below).
You must also inform us of a:
• Change of address, including change of e-mail address;
• Change of immigration representative;
• Request for withdrawal of your application.

I have been checking my inbox regularly, but haven't not been able to trace any email from CIO. I guess the email got directed to junk mail folder and got automatically deleted after a week (I have a rediffmail email account). I have gone through some posts in this forum and found that the CIO PER email could land into junk mail folder. I am not sure if I actually received the PER email but going by the above email from the Immigration Section, New Delhi, I guess I received the email from CIO and it went to junk folder, which later got deleted automtically ???

How can I retreive that email ?? Would the CIO entertain my request of resending my PER email??
Please advise ???

After a mere 139 days? :) Nah, made711 has the record by a country mile currently standing at 158 days! So you needed another 20 days to be crowned longest PER champ ;)

Anyway, very very very glad for both you and your husband!

Wayne.
Thanks a lot, Wayne!
I forgot about made711 - uncontested champion of the tracker and long may the title remain there! I was looking at asif, way back in July.
I have been really touched by everyone who has posted their congratulations - I have told my husband (Neil) to look in tonight on the thread and read them all. He is thrilled and I know he will be as moved by this goodwill as I have been.
Thanks to all of you and may tomorrow bring relief and happiness to others as today has brought it to me and my dear husband.
Well done for the tiling, Wayne!
Do you want to come round and do mine? :P

My Per says that "....ur application will b forwarded to LVO for further processing, please inform them of any changes in ur application...."

not a word about e-cas or any additional requests 2b followed from VO.... ;)

I can understand how you and your husband are feeling, because I was in similar situation last year, separated for seven months! It was terrible! :'(
That's why your PER is so special to me, too, I was hoping that you will receive it soon! :)

Hello Everyone,

I have received the PER today. Please update the spreadsheet also I sent the police report with my initial application.

Thanks

Being without your soul mate for so long is a trial in itself, then with the anxiety of a long wait it is upsetting and so lonely.
Now we can all look forward to being with our partners again soon and starting the next part of our lives together. ;D
I am sure your silent support has helped to bring our application good fortune, JSMM. Thank you for your understanding and I promise not to moan any more on this thread ever again!

Also, Congratulations, Maani1985! 8)

We are together now, waiting for our PER! But, after so many months that we spent separated, we are stronger than ever and we hope that this sacrifice we had to make in order to immigrate will be worthwhile!
And yes, Skype helped a lot, thanks to whoever invented it ;)!

Congratulation for queencougar & IRG.

PER is here. ;D
Thanks from the bottom of my heart to those who have given me their kind words of encouragement while I waited all alone here without my husband. I am so grateful to you for helping me through a sad and stressful time. You are all truly compassionate and fine people who Canada would be lucky to receive as residents.
To Rina, especially, I send my best hopes to you for some good news after this long wait.
To everyone else who is waiting and hoping, don't lose faith, even if the tracker seems to have passed you by.
To CanadaJimmy, don't get my husband too drunk when you go out for that celebration! :P
NOW, COME ON, WAYNE, turn me BLUE!

many congrats my friend.... ;D

i think u r one of the people who deserves this PER most after that loooong wait..... :P
