Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.



Your application as a Federal Skilled Worker, which was initially submitted to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The CIO recommended your application for further assessment at a visa office and sent you a letter requesting that you submit a complete application package to this office. We have now received your submission.

Our office has created a file for you with the file number: E00000xxxx. Please note that this file number is different than the one that was assigned to you by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this file number in any future correspondence with our office.

Before your application can be placed in processing, our office will make a final determination as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the determination as well as a refund.

If your application is determined to be eligible for processing, processing will begin on a priority basis.
Applications in the Federal Skilled Worker category require an average of 8 months to process at this office.

Once your application has been assessed, you will receive further instructions from this office. Please do not contact this office to request a status update unless 8 months have passed since you submitted your complete application.

Interview
If an interview is required, you will be notified of the appointment for your interview, if required, approximately 2 months prior to the date of the interview, and you will be provided with further instructions at that time.

Non-resident applications
If you or any of your accompanying family members are not normally resident in the area of responsibility of this office, then you should be aware that there may be additional delay in the processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada. This delay will result from the need to refer your case to the Canadian Immigration office which is responsible for the country in which you or your family members normally reside. This referral is necessary to verify any information that you have provided with your application, or for advice concerning qualifications or other matters of a local concern that should be taken into account when assessing your application.

Let us know
If there is a change in your personal circumstances, such as the birth of a child, a marriage or divorce, you have to let us know (see address, fax number and email address below).
You must also inform us of a:
• Change of address, including change of e-mail address;
• Change of immigration representative;
• Request for withdrawal of your application.

I have been checking my inbox regularly, but haven't not been able to trace any email from CIO. I guess the email got directed to junk mail folder and got automatically deleted after a week (I have a rediffmail email account). I have gone through some posts in this forum and found that the CIO PER email could land into junk mail folder. I am not sure if I actually received the PER email but going by the above email from the Immigration Section, New Delhi, I guess I received the email from CIO and it went to junk folder, which later got deleted automtically ???

How can I retreive that email ?? Would the CIO entertain my request of resending my PER email??
Please advise ???

WOW the first response so you are one of the first people who got the response from VO

i think now that the VO will make another check if you eligible you will go to process but there is nothing for PPC i think if there is any request they will ask it from you

Bro, that is what the issue is !!!!
I guess PER/AOR was sent to my email ID by CIO which got directed to junk folder. I am guilty of not checking the junk folder on regular basis, and feel that the email would have stayed in junk folder for a some days and got automatically deleted. I am feeling so bad about not being more careful and for not checking the junk folder ???

Can I request CIO to re-deliver the PER/AOR email once again.



(P.S. I am not even sure if CIO actually sent AOR, but going by the above reply from VO, I am pretty sure that CIO did send the AOR)

I received the same stiupped request from CIO about GT IELTS exam,The same e-mail of Khai.
This is forwarded email from CIO stating that i need to pass a General Training test report of my IELTS. Here's the content of the letter:


Dear ALSHAMI MOHAMED:



This refers to your application for permanent residence to Canada which was received at this office on 05 OCT 2010.



At the initial assessment of your application, we have determined that you have included an Academic IELTS test result with your application. However, only the General Training IELTS test results are acceptable for immigration to Canada. In order to continue the assessment of your applications, you must submit the following document:



•IELTS test original results – GENERAL TRAINING option (not Academic option)

i think this is what happened you got your PER in the junk mail and you delete or clean the junk folder as usual we all do that

by this mail you received from the VO i think you a step closer to the visa as i told please be haaaappppy never be confused and save the new file number as this will be your contact number with them so i think we will add any date for your PER and Encashment depending on the dates we received from other applicant

Mohamed my friend don't be sad this is a good sign although in the early of August and July they accept the academic iLETS but now they decided not to accept it i think you should apply for the exam and go a head and send it to them please don't lose hope i'm sure that you will have your PER very very soon just send the General IELTS ASAP
