NEWS FLASH!!!!!!
Effective 1st October 2010, CIO has engaged the services of a high tech courier company for the delivery of reviewed post 26 June, 2010 applications to their Visa offices, and in a recent chat with the CEO of the company SNAIL POST INC, Mr Camel Donkeyrider, he assured all applicants that the previous 120 days needed to submit documents to VOs, would now be reduced to an amazing 60 days, for all visa offices within 3 miles of CIO Nova Scotia office. On how long it will take to get to other visa offices outside this distance , he said, delivery times for all other Visa offices, are unavailable as sufficient final destination data does not exist.
All applicants have been adviced to be patient at this time, and wait for the next end of year update in December 2011 ;D ;D ;D

AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! This really made my day :) I thought it was real at first.... and then i saw "SNAIL POST"... harhar ;D

I have just updated the Projections tab on the spreadsheet from the figures released yesterday from CIC.
We are not projecting 10,034 total applications being received by the end of the fiscal year.

Seems they realised their mistake and the previous message was likely just some auto-reply or cut+paste error.

What concerns me is the length of time these applications are taking to get to the respective visa offices. It should take days, weeks at the most. But it's now turning into months....

Is it a part of your imagination or it is real information?

If it was a joke - then it is very bad joke, cause we could consider it as info.
If it was a real info - where have you got it?

I mean no offence but it was very obviously a joke, most of us found it quite amusing.
This process is stressful enough we need a joke or two to help us smile our way through it :)

LOL........You are creative, I really enjoyed this name " Mr. Camel Donkeyrider" the CEO of Snail Post INC. :D

This also possible that files have been received but have no priority for VO at this moment. It may be in some cooling zone. Once they have good amount of post 26 June application they would depute the resources.

Or they may want to finish the April / May/ June first before getting into the process of post 26 June.

Our PER only came after the May / June applicant.

The above are just my thoughts.

It was a good joke and it is good to release a bit of tension.
Remember Wayne when i had said about 300 pages ago that people are getting their returned files by post 3 months later and let us hope they don't send the files by snail mail to VO too and then you had retorted. Looks like it is getting true.
