please pur my name back into the spreadsheet

OK you have been re-added to the main spreadsheet.

But this is achieving its purpose, by moving some people to the inactive users we have had 3 people reply back and one report of a PER which we may not have heard about had we not been doing this system :)

Wayne.

Finally got a reply after 5 days.....
Good Afternoon,

Your submission is currently under review by our office. You will be contacted in due course.

Perhaps it would be more courteous to PM any users who are inactive? I'll happily take up the responsibility if you'd like.

Hey, just got an email from CIO, saying that my file is awaiting assessment.
I guess, I still have to wait a little longer for my PER.

Congrats to all the PER receivers this week.
That's very much like the e-mail we received yesterday, Rina, so once again we are in good company!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY and I hope CIO gives you, me and carl128 the birthday present that did not appear on my birthday in late December.
We don't want to have to wait for carl's birthday on the 28th, do we?!
All the best to you and hope you are bearing up with this stressful waiting.

Cur-rozen, thanks so much for the encouraging message. It is lovely that applicants like you with PER are sticking with us and helping us from the other side of the tracks.
Thank you :D

My application for NOC 1122 reached the cio on the 28th of October, today I got a reply for the enquiry on the status of the application saying that it was returned on the 30th Nov as the quota was reached. :(

I am SO sorry grimreaper. Is there another NOC 29 that would represent your work experience that you could use? I do hope you can find a Plan B. Good Luck.

Hi Pippin,

I'm not sure if u received my PM.... my application was signed by Paul. It reached CIO on the 8th of Nov. 2010. I have no idea of my bank draft's encashment as I applied thru a representative. How did your friend know that his file is missing?

I replied to your PM, did you not get it?? Our friend called CIO 90 days after first application was received. Told by Call Centre to call back the following day. They reported the application had been received, was unopened and lost. She gave her name and told him he had to put in a completely new application which he did. When no BD was cashed we contacted CIO by email at the 5 week point. THAT application is still unaccounted for more than 9 weeks later. Having difficulty getting a tracking number so that is why I wanted to have some idea of who was signing for applications at CIO in November, hoping it matched the name that we were given by the courier company, which it did in another case.
Is there any way you can contact the bank on your own about encashment? Getting that news would certainly put your mind at ease.

Actually, I already asked my representative to do that for me but they said there is no way of knowing it. Currently I am working in the middle east. However, I chose that my application will originate from my home country (visa office is manila). So I submitted my application and all docs from manila. I was thinking that if i'll email CIO and ask about my app, maybe they'll have confusion about my email add, since my representative put their own email add there. That's why things are a bit complicated at my side. I also would want to know the status of my application, but I guess for now all I can do is to wait for my PER. :-[

Seems like no PERs today at all ?! :(

Hello everyone
I was just wondering what I can do while I am waiting for PER?
Prepare for interview? Apply for police certificate or something?
Thanks.

Grimreaper,

Really sorry to hear about your application. Seems I am among the last ones of the NOC 1122 lot in our tracker whose payment was accepted/charged....Canada0801 being the luckiest and u being the most unfortunate........

But it's CIC guys.....they can return my application even after charging my CC......I have full faith in them :-\

Anyways, good luck for next year or any other alternative plan that you may have

Hi Jalna: So you mean something other than.....Forum, work, Forum, laundry, Forum, gardening, Forum, cooking, and more laundry? Having others ahead of you with PER, you will be able to get a good idea of when to order PCC from their experience. So for now, I think you can take time off this weekend to relax.

Perhaps it would be courteous for those wishing to participate in our experience-sharing spreadsheet to contribute at least 1 post per month? :) Swings and roundabouts really. Tbh I'd favour whichever option encouraged people to participate as much as possible. If people cannot find the time to spend 30 seconds per month making a quick post, why I am spending several hours per day here? ;)

Sorry I don't wish to offend anyone it's just I feel PM users to find out if they are still interested in being part of this is a big overhead, especially since it's so easy to copy them back into the main spreadsheet should they wish to be active again.

Wayne.
