Hallo friends, I've got PER on Jan 11 :), correct encashed date to Sept 21.

Thanks.

Congrats Victory .......... :D
It is interesting to see now who receives PER today. Coz. now it has become unpredictable.

Thanks for the link Faraz_fahimi. It is very useful info as it gives us a good breakdown of the remaining process.

Cur-rozen, I checked the ecas again and there is still no update, i doubt we're going to see anything soon, we'll probably hear of the first medical requests on the forum before any updates are made.

Finally, congratulations Victory, victory is yours! :P

You forgot about Chinsan. He is the Man of the moment right now. Got his PER on 7th Jan though his application was received by CIO on 6 Oct 2010

Dear Wayne or Anil

After reviewing from the p683,I found out that one of our member (Beshocar) got the refusal letter from CIO. But somehow I didn’t see his/her information updating on the spreadsheet. I’m pretty sure that his/her DD/CC was deducted in Sept . Because of lacking activation he/she might be remove from our list.
Can you update on the spreadsheet ?
Beshocar case was rejected because of insufficient points after encashment.

congrats to all those who got per's on 11th.

Hi. We can add him to the rejected applications tab if you can give us full details.

Rejected due to insufficient points is interesting, because it would seem to confirm that CIO tally up the points to ensure 67 have been reached before mailing the application to visa office, lending weight to the belief that visa office will just do security/background checks and medicals.

Furthermore, Wayne. Remember letter to Robin? They described in details how much points he got, for what exactly and what was the points maximum. I am sure this work is completely done by CIO.

According to something I read from a Qorax post, the main security/background checks are done AFTER medicals (since these are apparently the most costly part of the visa office processing and they won't do these until they are sure everything else is ok).

This means once visa office receives the paper file there may be very little in the way of issuing medical requests.

Congo... to everyone who have received their PER's in recent past :) :)

But! It's amazed me... we have one October applicant who had received his PER yesterday...
