Need to know to show proof of Fund .

As i have my deposit in my Saving Account & some of Fixed Deposits.

If i take Bank Letter then do i need to tell Bank to mention FD details in Letter or I can attached Photocopy of FD ? Do i need notarised it if attached it ? I am confused.

Please need value-able advise...

Regards,
Mayank

It is so easy ,
1. Have xerox of FD and bank will put their stamp on it,which justifies this FD exists with their bank.
2. Ask the bank for balance certificate ,which usually states A/C number,Deposit date ,Maturity date, maturity value etc.

It's so easy

I did same .
PM me if u still have any doubt

Re: A Word About the Nurse Cap on Marc Laforce's BLOG

Indeed I believe they would benefit from reading this forum. They might even know that CIC are now strongly advising people to include their PCC, as opposed to completely the opposite which this Mr. LaForce guy tried to convince us of a few posts ago. Surely you would think it's an immigration's lawyer/consultant's job to keep themselves up to date with CIC guidelines? This change came about 2 months ago, so plenty of time to spend a few minutes reading.

My experience with immigration lawyers and consultants, and I apologise in advance because there may well be some very good ones out there, is that they are mainly out to get your money at all costs, and you can do a better job of your application by using forums such as these. I've been mislead when talking to some lawyers, and downright lied to by others. I've talked to a lawyer at an immigration fair who had not only never even heard of an eligiblity review, but also described FSW1 somewhat inaccurately as a "lottery" and pushed for FSW2, because looking behind the scenes he wanted the additional revenue generated by securing you a job via his employment agency. And I am now very glad we did not part with any money and decided to do our application ourselves.

As I say I apologise to any lawyers/consultants out there who do not fall into this category, but this is just my own experience.

But the inaccuracies posted recently by Mr LaForce only help to convince me that my opinion is correct.

Wayne.
I find it rather odd that people who are themselves seeking immigration have suddenly turned into immigration experts.
As useful as this forum is, no one is an expert. It is true that you can succeed with your application by doing it yourself. That is not to decountenance the myriads of applicants who have successfuly applied through lawyers and consultants.
You should realise that everybody does not have the time to monitor or follow up on applications because of work responsibilities etc and there are people out there who can afford the luxury of employing someone.
All our advise and suggestions is only as good as the successful outcome of our applications so lets stop feeding people advise on whether they should employ someone or not. Let them go with their instincts but they should research before retaining.
This is not to ignore the fact that there are charlatans out there who call themselves lawyers or consultants.
If serious complications spring up along the process then we may begin to appreciate the use of someone who can represent us.
I sincerely hope that won't be the case and that we all make it without any hitch, lawyer, consultant or not.

Congratulations to all who received there PERs,and GOODLUCK to those waiting. ;). :-*
