Congrats! :)

But what the hell is going on with Sep 7th applications? And several other gaps up to 15th September received date. CIO seem to be doing things in a somewhat more random order than they did before Christmas...

Wayne.
Yup man. These blanks seem bizzare and getting more and more bizzare. I think they may be related to the actual cashing of the money more than anything. I seriously hope so.
Cheers

Brother,

May be the officer who is looking after these files, still on vacation, may be his flight to Canada was rescheduled.

Johnnyusa Congrats! :)

Indeed, this is what I think as well. They probably assign a pile of applications to an officer, the 7th September applications were given to someone who was/is on vacation and as such there is a delay and backlog.

Anyway Congrats JohnnyUSA for kicking off the applications this week :)

Well done, johnnyusa.
I am praying (to no-one in particular but as much as an atheist can!) that our PER comes soon. The wait and disappointment is very hard.
I especially cannot understand what is taking so long for Cat2 applicants such as myself and my OH and shacon- as my OH has already been through the LMO and TWP processing, there shouldn't really be much to check - no need for proof of funds and no need to check that work experience matches an NOC category (which is the crucial CIO part of the Cat 1 checks). I am at a loss to explain this delay and it is getting to be quite a long time now. :'(

hello,
i have a question to ask,

my wife is an engineer and has 16 years of education.During her last year of study, she worked full time. She passed out 1 year ago and she is still working at the same job.means her total working experience are 2 years.I m confused tht ,,,can we claim the experience points during her last year study ??

seniors plz comments

Hello all,

Thanks to everyone who already congratulated and who will do so in future. I also wish that everyone who is on the forum gets their PERs soon and there are no gaps left in the end. I think sept 7 applicants will get their PER soon but i am more worried about those who applied in july-august. I think it depends upon how complex the application is?

well, what next now? Is anybody able to ckeck their status or heard from their respective VOs?

Again thanks to everyone on the forum who are doing a great job.

To test your theory of complexity, just a question - How many people are in your application (spouse, children, etc) and of course, you may choose to not to answer my question if you think this is none of my business

IMO, appl;ication could be complex in various ways, not by just the number of people. We are just 2 people in our application, no need to hide that. Complexity could arise from living in mutliple countries, doing multiple jobs, clarity of the job duties, how hard it to to contact the employers, i mean it could be number of ways to make the application complex.

But i think you will get PER soon as there can be a change of +/- couple of days. I would worry if its about 2 weeks from now.

Thanks for replying. I am tense. That's for sure but you are right. I have a spouse and a daughter and have lived in three countires and travelled in 15 countries in the lat 10 years. so i can understand. Cheers and thank you anyway.
