Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Updated the projections worksheet. Now our projection for the number of total applications that will be received till 30th June '11 is 9,414, up from 9,296.

Ok I was going to do it but by boss was lingering around my desk so couldn't open the spreadsheet too high

The projections seem to be levelling out a but I reckon they'll end up with 10,000 or so.

10,000 between 43 visa offices means an average of only 230 applications per visa office for the year for post-June-26 applications. That's only around 20 applications per month, per office. Less than 1 per day! A massive reduction compared to pre-June-26 applications.

Yes, but they are still working on the pre-June26th applicants. Moreover, they still have the pre-Feb2008 backlog

Very true, but I hope they have at least ONE person devoted to processing the post 26th June applications only. If we get put into the back of the queue behind pre June (and possibly pre Feb?) applicants this whole 'Fast track' process would be a waste, even if they have less than 20 of us to process a month. I just hope the VOs are aware of how they are supposed to deal with the post 26 June applicants (the ND VO seems to be a little foggy at the moment).
