Good Morning,

Please be advised your application is currently awaiting assessment. For future enquiries please refer to the following file number: Bxxxxxxxx.

Thank you,

JT

With this letter I know that my file is still with them and not yet returned..Thats all. I wont give weight on the phrase "awaiting assessment", coz its with them for more than 3 months already. Could be a positive sign but I am not sure. I would rejoice only if I receive the formal PER.

can somebody give information...my application was filed dec.02,2010...under NOC 3152,and was received in the CIO Dec. 08,2010..my visa office is in Manila,Philippines..and upto now i am still waiting for any email...does this mean my application is refused..???still no notice from the credit card holder about the fee....please halp me..

Thoro dont worry, your application reached them way before your NOC was closed. But, the thing is it will take them about 3-4 months to assess yours just like everyone here. Try to refrain yourself from contacting them in a month or two coz you might not receive any response yet. Did you apply thru a consultancy or just by yourself?

With the X-Mas & New Year 2011 celebrations going on, what is the most exciting news this thread team is waiting now?

It is the first news to hear back from the local VO. Lets hope someone cross this mile stone before this thread cross 10,0000 posts

Hi Canada 100,

Wish you a very happy new year and Sorry to hear that you have not been able to make it to the cap, I very well understand your feelings as I am also in the same boat. Mine reached CIO on 1st Nov 2010, still was not able to make to the cap. I have received a letter dated 30th Nov 2010 stating that I was not able to make it to the cap, but not yet received back the package.

I believe you have got back the application package, can you please give me the details like when you received back the package and which country you are from, also whether you have received the whole package as you have sent it or is anything missing from the package. Did it look like they opened your package, I have seen in your post that some number was marked on the package was it written on the outer cover or was it marked on the application forms. I am from India, and I believe that only option left with us is the AEO route.

Would like to ask the expert on the forum, whether we can use the notarized copies and other documents sent with our refused application while filing a new application or should we get all the documents notarized again. I believe the transcripts can be the same , but DD and PCC has to be renewed.

Thanks & Best wishes

mary

Hi all,

I submitted my application under NOC1122 and got returned because the NOC capped before the CIC received mine. While I was under the impression that applications reaching CIC after the NOC caps are not assigned any file or identification numbers, there are are two identifications marked on my returned application. One is XE 000 005 140 and another is T18366 16452 written enxt to my name. Any idea what they are? I am just curious because I thought no identification or file no is issued if the cap is closed. Please advise as I am eager.

Thanks to all.....

congrats! dgm

Hello Arif,

Please let me know whom did you contact in HSBC and how to know the status of the BD..encashment.

I really want to know mine. I applied on Oct 7th and no status as of today...Please reply..

aSHOK.... ;D

Dear Ashok

Sorry for the late reply. You should go to non-cash service counter who deals with DD/BD or overseas payment. Give them your BD receipt copy and ask for the confirmation of your BD en-cashment. At first they might say that it is not possible to confirm. In that case, you should tell them you have done that before and advice him to ask to his superior if he does not know that. In my case, they did the same and I was a bit annoyed and wanted to talk with his superior. Then the HSBC staff ask his Superior to know what to do and send an email to concern HSBC-INDIA where they deposited the amount temporarily waiting for en-cashement. On next day, I got a copy of the replied email which confirmed the BD en-cashment. Hope this will help you.

Cheers
Arif
