Amro

Yes Amro,

Truly, I believe there's a strong sense of unity and spirit of solidarity here between all the members in this thread, and I hope the pure frienships we make here and the true willingness we display to help and support each other will laaaast loooong. We all need emotional support in Canada. Don't we? :)

Hello everyone

Change in IELTS requirements. useful news for those who are going to apply..........

EFFECTIVE December 23, 2010: If you are submitting a language test with your application, the results are now valid for 2 years from the time you took the test, instead of 1 year. This change applies to Federal skilled worker, Canadian Experience Class and Business Class Immigrants.

Basmalahh,

It is great to have you back. Thank you dear for your nice words.

Wish you all the best!

I'ts really a good news, but as I have written before my IELTS expired before it reaches the CIO
but I hav'nt received any update yet.Hopefully it's been considered, I'm keeping the faith that's why I am still waiting for Molarius
reply bec. it's the reason why the package was returned.I'd lke to know how old the IELTS when it was submitted.

Hi

I have seen my color is changed to RED! I wonder why ? since my CC is cashed so I am waiting for AOR.

Thanx

As some of the forumers suggested earlier, I changed the colour code in the tracking spreadsheet. Since the CIC regularly publish information about the number of applications received, and since by now we know that only few NOCs will be filled, the NOC field became less important to most people. Also For the payment mode, I'll use the font color instead of the background colour to differentiate between credit card and bank draft payment. CC= black BD= orange.

The background colour is now indicating the current stage of the application, as follows:

- White = Application received
- Turquoise = PER received
- Light purple = Medical Received
- Yellow = Passports requested
- Green = Visa Issued (case closed)

Red font will remain an indication of inactive case. Returned / rejected applications will be moved to a separate worksheet as usual.

Hope this color scheme make things clearer and easier. Your suggestions and feedback are highly appreciated.

Hey Roman,

Did they from VO contact you and ask for PCC?

Dear Chinkazus

please can you confirm the way of paying and if they cash your money and when ??

also i'd like to know if you send your PPC with the application or not

Thanks

Sure, Amro Eslayed
I mailed the package on September 15.2010. My credit card was charged on September 30. PPC (police cetrificate?) from police authorites in HK can be obtained only after presenting a special letter from the Consulate of Canada in HK (so at later stage). So we didn't send those certificates, but attached an explanatory letter with the copy of the Consulate's email, saying "please proceed without the said certifitates".

Hmmmmm ::) ! I wonder what I missed but I'm glad to see whatever it was, it has been efficiently sorted out. Like most of the members have already mentioned this forum is like one big family and we have formed some (very 'virtual' but reliable) friendships. Having said that, I guess all friends fight every now and then, thats what makes the relations grow stronger.

So anyway, Here's to hoping 7th Sept applicants receive our PERs on Wednesday/ Thursday; really don't know if I can take the suspense all the way to the new year.

On another note, applicants under NOC 3131: Has anyone applied for the document evaluation and licensing procedures as yet? I'd be glad if someone could send me a PM in this regard.

By my time: 2 days to go to get my PER (HOPEFULLY!!!) and 5 days to go for the new year (not counting today of course). So either way, a countdown is on. Phew...I feel like I'm in a spaceship!
