Merry xmas to everbody.

Advance123,i just sent a PM to you.Thanks

My OH arrived on Christmas Eve, on time and safely, despite the travel difficulties in the UK courtesy of the snow and ice.
I am so happy and I wish everyone, whatever stage their application is at and whatever their religion, the happiest and most restful Christmas holiday season with their families and friends and a New Year filled with success and joy.
All our love to everyone.

Merry Christmas everyone. :) im still very happy ,eventhough i havent received my PER As expected, I have received my eligibility to take the CRNE, Canadian Registered Nurse Examination, through email yesterday.. yipeeee.. :)

Hello everyone,
Can somebody help please.
App sent 18th oct, received 25th and CC charged 1st Nov. NOC: 1122, VO: London
These are my concern:
(1). I only sent one month savings account statement with initial application to CIO. That was all I have as at then. That was when I was able to raise the required proof of fund (POF). I now have additional 3 months statement after the application.
(2). I did not send my wife's transcript because it was taking too long to get from the university. The transcript is still not out even now. I only included statement of her degree result. She studied in Nigeria. I also studied in Nigeria but I did my Masters degree in the UK. However, I still scored over 67 points without her degree.
(3) My wife is expecting around june/july 2011. At the moment we are a family of four (Wife, 2 children & myself) Do I need to provide proof of funds for 4 people or to include funds to cover the unborn child? In otherwords, which POF do I need to show - for 4 people or 5 people? Also, will pregnancy delay processing of my application?

Please can somebody help explain how the above factors may impact my application.

Thank you.

Hi Amro:

It only makes sense, the rule is silly anyway. If you took the IELTS exam 2 years go and had a band score of 8, it is not as if you are going to get a 5 if you take it now... you don't forget your English for crying out loud!

On the other hand, if someone has taken the IELTS a few years ago and did not do well, and have studied English for sometime, they might voluntarily want to take the test again to show a better score.

I'm telling you some of these rules make no sense, like the one for PCCs. For example, my wife lived in England in the early nineties, for two years... Why should her PCC from England not be older than one year? ::)

Ok, back to helping kids with toy assembly :) I see the serial neg giver has been back, Bah Humbug! ;)

Wow, what a great news, one of my friends was about to sit for GT IELTS since his previous one was more than 1 year old. Now, he does not need to go through this hurdle. And Amro you really did a great job finding this info and revealing it to other forum members. +1 from me :D

good piece of info..+1 from me

Cam, the reason for that requirement is to have most up to date PCC status on you.

What if she got a parking ticket in England 10 years ago, got her PCC from the same few month later before leaving the country and got an outstanding arrest warrant a year or so later for not paying the ticket?
Should you then be allowed to submit the same PCC obtained by her , simply because she didn't live there thereafter?
I don't think so.

I do read Canadian CIC regulations like all of you applicants and have yet to find one that didn't make sense.
