Hey Wayne,

Merry Christmas!

If someone wants to claim points for both languages (English and French) do they have to include official test results for both languages or is that just for the first official language?

Thank You!

Twas the night before Christmas and all through Visa Forax
Not an applicant was stirring, not even dear Qorax
The packages were hung around Sydney with care
In hopes everyone's PER soon would be there.

The immigrants were nestled, all snug in their beds
While visions of Maple Leaves danced in their heads.
When up on the internet there arose such a chatter
Wayne sprang to his desk to see what was the matter.
Back to the keyboard he flew like a flash,
Hit F5 again and the silly thing crashed!

But what to his wondering eyes should appear
But an email from Sydney and a case of cold beer.
With a twist of the wrist, so lively and quick
He knew in a moment it wasn't a trick.

More rapid than PERs, the Med requests came
Everyone whistled as they read out their name.
So up from the laptop the good news flew
Anil filled the spreadsheet a glorious BLUE.
A wink of his eye and a nod of his head
Soon gave us to know we had nothing to dread.

I send every good wish to our worldwide friends
You'll be happy to know that I've come to the end!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Lol Pippin great minds think alike! I got 6 lines into writing a "night before Christmas" poem for our forum also, but then I saw yours! :)

Anyway mine was going to finish:

So come on fate, don't be an Ebenezer
And grant us all a Canadian visa!

Wayne :)

Is this because you believe it will give you a better chance to get a visa, or because you just like really old cars? ;)

Wayne.

It's because I lost password and my e-mail account has problem right now
so I created another account

thank you

Hahahaha! Wow Pippin, that was really good. Wayne, I think we'd all like to read your poem as well. It seems the season is bringing out the artistry in everyone, Pippin and Wayne with their poetry and CanadaJimmy with his comic strip.

I want to wish everyone here a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a BRILLIANTLY HAPPY NEW YEAR...

Hi Katy,
May be i can try to answer. I was an expatriate in France for around 4 years. And i submitted my french language proficiency certificate (DELF B1). But i think CIC requires TEF certificate. And yes, if you need to claim those points, you need to submit both certifications. In my case, i did not claim for the French points, as i didnt want to give TEF again. However i enclosed a french write-up and my DELF B1 certificate, which is anyways tougher than TEF

Hi Merry Christmas to you too, Katy :)

If you claim points for both English and French then you must submit proof of language for both languages. Only the principal applicant has to do this.

Wayne.
