Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

I had informed the VO of my change of job, but didnt receive any response so far (except for the instant automated reply email).
However, one of my acquaintances also did the same a week before me (same VO) informing them of his change in job and he received an email aound a week later which said there is no application at their office with that file number! I understand they might not yet have the physical file at their hand, but shouldn't they atleast have a list of file numbers whose files are being sent to their office from CIC?
Its been almost a month and I guess its sufficient time for a dilmoatic courier to reach any VO!

We both have updated using a web form that was there on the VO website -it had an option to upload supporting documents, so we also attached the scanned copies of docs for the changes we were updating.

I am wondering whether I should also send paper copies of my update letter to the VO, or if the web update would be sufficient -any suggestions anyone?

We have number of confusions regarding VO role for post 26/6 process - no clarity till someone hears from local VO.

Is any one aware of: whether above was also a part of pre 26/6 applicants or something new for post 26/6 applicants?

This paragraph was also a part of the pre 26/6 AOR from CIC. (someone posted a sample of the Pre 26/6 on this forum). Wait and see towards visa office for further progress.

I sent my application on 18th Aug 2010 and it was returned back with the reason Birth Certificate. I sent the complete package again on the 18th Sep 2010. The same was collected there on 23rd Sep 2010. The address to which i sent the courier was :
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
Centralized Intake Office
Attn.: SW1 -NOC # _ _ _ _
196 George Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 1J3
Canada

Till date i have not received any letter of receipt or any other communication either via email or via post from the office in Sydney, Canada. Please will someone guide me on how do i follow up with them?

You can check whether you successfully passed the 1st step (which is the Completeness Check) by checking your payment if it is collected or not. How did you pay the fees, Credit Card or Bank Draft Check ?
