What do you mean by NOV. PER applicants? Sorry , but I don't get that. Is it not that no Nov. applicant has got their PER's?

what are they expected to have heard of their visa offices?

I mean applicants who received their PERs in November. Since 23rd to end of November the first applicants received their PERs, it's fair to assume that they will be the first to hear from the visa offices.

As far as we can make out the visa office will send an AOR once they have received the paper file AND have begun processing the application, which I think is security/background checks.

If we don't hear anything before Christmas I am hoping the earliest applicants to receive PER will hear something from their visa offices in January.

Ok guys, listen. I really mean this with the greatest of respect, but could I please request that people keep their religious beliefs and opinions to a minimum here? This is a multicultural public forum for discussing obtaining a Canadian permanent residents visa.

Not everyone on here believes the same thing. I personally don't really believe in a god and I don't think this forum is an appropriate place to air your religious views.

I don't wish to upset or offend anyone But I've bitten my tongue a few times now on this subject and I just figured it was about time to say something.

I called CIC today....they gave me my Client ID number and informed me that my application is currently "on process" and that I will hear something from them come July next year...... I tried to access the ECAS with the given Client ID number but I can not log in....... your thoughts, please.....

I called CIC today....they gave me my Client ID number and informed me that my application is currently "on process" and that I will hear something from them come July next year...... I tried to access the ECAS with the given Client ID number but I can not log in....... your thoughts, please.....

1) CIC when phoned will just add 33 weeks onto the date of your application and say that you will hear by then. If you check the spreadsheet you will see that the reality is that people hear from CIC within 100 to 120 days now. So about 3.5 to 4 months from when your application was received.

2) Nobody can access ECAS, and hasn't been able to since around April applicants. Not sure if they are being very slow adding details to it, or have abandoned it altogether for new applications, but until the June applicants start reporting that they can access it, it's unllikely any of the post-June-26 applicants will be able to access it either.

But I find it really confusing that they can not identify the Application Number (E0000000***) that I apparently got from their response to my email weeks before.... they instead gave me my Client Number.... nevertheless, I am just happy that my application kit is finally with them and is currently "on process".... I guess it's a big step as compared to the response that I got (from the email weeks before) that it is still "awaiting processing"...... ;D

I have been trying to call for the past few days ,all was fruitless though.The people in CIC Ottawa keep telling that they have no info of what is going on in Sydney. I really need to talk to them and get a final response if my app. hasn't reached them for sure. Would you pls give me the information and possibly the name of the person you talked to?
