We have to start right from the scratch ..... :'( :'(
...... it's like credit history on their land ..... that is one one of the challenges that we have to overcome, that too as soon as possible!!!

Cheers, Anil

Anil is right u have to start with scratch.... but say if u have hsbc a/c and want to open a/c in hsbc then they will check ur credit history before issuing credit card........... I will be writing more details in 2 days what to do and how to do......and how to carry funds..

My credit card has not been encash as of today. Does this mean that my application has been denied?

If your application was received on 4th October and your credit card has not yet been charged, then I am afraid it's not looking good. Usually cards are charged within a few days of arriving at CIC - within 2 weeks maximum.

Unfortunately applications have been known to take 3 months to get back (probably partly down to slow Canada posts and also due to delays at customs at the receiving country).

Your best option is to send an email enquiry to CIO asking about the status of your application. If it has been returned they should be able to tell you which date they sent it back to you.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Dear sweet jelly

Please give us your complete details ... like when was you appl. received by CIO, VO (I assume Manila!!), PCC sent or not ... we will add you in our tracker & after seeing the details will be able to suggest you something!!!... Thank you.

Check out the top 11 jobs, in terms of salary growth and pay ranges: 3. Lead application developer: from CA$78,750 - $109,000
Hello indira

Very rosy and shiney picture u have given, survey might be right but it is for local experienced...... there are lot of opportunities but one has to start with scratch and for sure without local experience one will not get the salary mentioned in survey..... hourly wages are attractive for new immigrants and for sure once u have hands on local experience then sky is the limit for true professionals.....

Cheers

I thought they would also email us even if it is refused.

Only if you pass the completeness check and fail at eligibility review stage - then they will email you if you fail.

If you fail the completeness check, they do not even consider your application as received, and they mail the entire thing back to you.

Wayne.
