Can anybody comment as to when November's applicants are expected to receive PERs?

The initial applicants took about 140 days after application (means received by CIC) to receive PER but currently it is reducing to about 106 to 110 days.

Hey ss1886 i think it must be around march 2011 ::)

sure, It really depends on your budget and also the most important thing the area you find a job...

a good website that can help to see the price range for renting or buying a place is mls.ca
If you need any specific info i would be more than happy to help.

Thank you Mari for your detailed post, the information was very useful. :)

Cam

Hello all. I've been following this thread for some time now and I must say, you guys are doing a great job! I've learnt a lot just reading through all the comments and information shared here.

So if it's alright with everyone, I'd like to join in.

What do I have to do?

Thanks & regards

When i sent my email to CIC, it just said it is 'under review'

now alot of people got file numbers when tehy sent queries..
Wonder why CIC didnt include any for me, is this cause for concern
Hi Wakawaka,
I have sent 2 emails to CIO with a gap of one week and both times they have replied that application is under review without any file number or client ID.
My application was received on 30th Sept and I can not check if my BD was encashed or not. But I see in your data that your application was received on 9th Sept and your BD was encashed on 21st Sept.
I guess we will have to wait for a few more days to find out what does this mean.
Wishing you, myself and everyone else best of luck.

Kevin: I feel for you, truly, I do. Our friend's application sent in July was lost by CIO (they admitted it). He reapplied in November. We are told they have no record of it either. We've been asked to provide tracking numbers and they will look further. Send your email to CIO, do not leave spaces on either side of the @ sign. Include as many details, dates, courier company, address package sent to, tracking no and who signed for it, as well as your personal ID. Do not wait any longer. We waited 90 days the first time and nearly 6 wks the second time. There is no excuse for such careless handling of these important documents. I think an internal audit needs to be done to address this situation. Good Luck to you and hang in there - it beats the alternative!

Hey Avi and Kevinca, Congratulations for both of you.

So far, I am still waiting .... ::)
Pleaaaaaase CIO, I want my PER too!!!!!!

Rina,

The shortest time elapsed for the receipt of AORs has been 106 days.
When you get yours today,(hopefully), that would be 104 days. Which means you will be leading the shortest time league table!

lets see if anyone can beat 106 days.

I feel that November application will receive the PER by end of January 2011. or beginning of Feb. Initial application took 140 days and that number is coming down now its 110.

No, it woudn't because the number on the spreadsheet is wrong. I realized that yesterday. My application was received by CIO the same day as Avi's (August 30), but the number displayed under time lapse is different for both of us. I think mine needs to be corrected.

I just have to wait and see ... And we have seen that not all the PERs were sent in perfect order anyway. For now, I just keep refreshing my email account, lol.
