How about asking for our PER's before Pongal ( South Indian festival falling on 14th Jan) .. I wish we can celebrate Pongal with our PER's.......

That would be great! Pongal is the only festival that remains core traditional here(and the only time in the year when we actually make it to our ancestral farms and get around for a couple of days). This Pongal would be great to celebrate with PERs

Same here as well. Pongal is the biggest festival & this is the time when we have the farm harvest coming home .. I am from Andhra Pradesh state, We both ahve applied with a difference of one day so we both will be celebrating the PER's at same time. let us pray n HOPE FOR THE BEST.... :'( ???

I am so sorry Ajaygoyal. Did you send something instead of the BC? When was your application received? I thought they had amended the requirements for proof of birthdate. Does anyone know when that happened? If not, can you get the required documents and send your application back soon? Good Luck to you.

i got my file back today

nd the reason is birth certificate.

Sorry about this Ajay, But you can reapply . The amendments/notice about the extra documents that can be accepted in Lieu of the BCs from the ND VO reached the CIO sometime in late October/Early November and so, if the applications are received before that, they must have come back for incompleteness.

Please prepare your application again, with a letter that you are not able to provide the BCs for so and so reasons and that you are attaching your 10th class certificate/any other document in lieu of that.

they send my file back on 10th September, on 12th September CIO accepting files on the basis of matric cert., passport as birth proof, my bad luck. i had the birth certificate, now i will send the file with birth cert.

That leaves us with very few PERs for August. Hope CIC will be done with those received upto 10th September before the end of this year.
