Hi All

Regarding the Application with out PCC

who does not have PCC ready, It is the right time to apply for the PCC.

Who already have the PCC ready need not to worry Since the CIO does not talk about the age of the PCC (The 3 Month Condition) you can still submit them if they are not older than a year.

Please find the likn below for info about the PCC

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp

Sorry Guys
if I sent your heart beating faster, I was just trying to quote what Engy had said,. Computer skills awful as you can see.

NO No No Per YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEt, expecting mine Jan/Feb 2011

Apologises again, for the mistake

My wife just mailed me, we haven't received anything yet - but she's going to check in another hour or so.

Probably it's a good job my email isn't on the form else I'd be refreshing it every 5 seconds ;)

Let's see if my prediction that, CIO will conclude PER for August applicants comes true. We have just 7 more to go, on the spreadsheet. Cappucino please open the flood gate for 30th August now!!, you are next to celebrate another PER

Hi,

Does anyone know what the UCI# on the PER mean?

Thanks

Sorry roman

Couldn't reply you on time ;) ;) ... please see the following, hope it will throw some light on your query -

Client ID Number
You will find this number on official documents issued to you from a Citizenship and Immigration Canada office, Case Processing Centre or visa office where you submitted your application. Your "Client ID Number" has four numbers, a dash (-), and four more numbers. (Example: 0000-0000).

Immigration File Number
You will find this number on any official document issued to you from the visa office where you submitted your application. Your "Immigration File Number" starts with the letter "B", and is followed by nine numbers. (Example: B000000000).

Cheers, Anil

Well seeing is believing, personally I think today is a little early - if we're successful (and it's still an "if" currently) then I am thinking more likely tomorrow or Friday!

Hi. There will be some discrepancy between the date the bank told you and the date CIC are using for encashment.

The date CIC are using is when they took it to THEIR bank for encashment. The date the bank to you is the date YOUR bank received the instruction to cash it etc :)

Hi Indira

Since we belong to same VO,Your Comments on the age of PCC(3Months or less) on submission while submitting to VO, will be appreciated

Thanks in advance
Jeniya

Hi Jeniya,

I'm not 100% sure on if we can actually submit the PCCs that are older than 3 months to the VO. It used to be like this, but they have removed this line from the guide. Again we can't rely on this as we saw they removed the AOR part from the process and then started to send out the AORs/PERs now ??? ???. The best thing is we need to hear from the guys who got PERs about whether something is mentioned about the PCCs. If nothing is mentioned, i think it's OK to start applying fro PCCs once we have the PER, as anyway it takes approximately 1 month to procure those and by the time VO requests for it, we will have them handy and they would not have been more than 3 months old(As far as ND VO is concerned, they are pretty fast and should complete BC in about a month or 2).

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
