Hmm well 2 rejections (I am still not counting Jimmy's as rejection just yet) is not LOTS of rejections. As much as I would love every member of this list to pass the eligibility review, realistically with 200+ applicants we are likely to see at least a few rejections, unfortunately. And one of those did not get to eligibility review because the NOC cap was filled.

So thus far we've had 1 rejected eligibility review (once again still not counting Jimmy's just yet!) and 32 successful eligibility reviews. That's around 3% rejection rate so far, which means a healthy 97% pass rate. I think as a whole we're doing ok so far, so I don't think there's cause for individuals to get nervous / frightened just yet! Chins up people!

Well the fax got them to take a second look, whether it changes my decision has yet to be seen. :-X

this is exactly what needed now I believe - to have a SECOND look, and then provide docs that could prove sufficient experience in 1122 NOC.

anyway, his case is not like yours, and I wish him and you luck. what if he needed some further efforts to make his way to Canada ;D

Iam new to this forum...

FSW applicant after 26th June 2010.

VO New Delhi
Sent the complete application of 27th Novemebr 2010. Rceived at CIC: 09/12/2010

Myself and my spouse does not have birth certificate. I had sent an email to the immigration section/Canadian High Commision Newdelhi asking whether 10th class certificate be enough as a DOB proof. I got the reply (from re-delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca) that 10th school certificate and passport be suffcient as a proof of Birth. Then I applied with the 10th class certificate as my prrof of birth

But I have seen applications rejected due to no birth ceritifcate (in the spread sheet given in the forum).

What should I expect as far as the status of my application. Please advise me.... Thanks all

what document you had attached with you application package as proof of Date of Birth?
Your rejection is purely because of non availability of Date of birth certificate?

Yes that's exactly why I said "And one of those did not get to eligibility review because the NOC cap was filled. So thus far we've had 1 rejected eligibility review"

The only 1 applicant who has been rejected after encashment (not counting Jimmy for whom the jury is still out!) is Iafaneh.

Hi Wayne, I think that it is too early to say that CIO is informing to applicants through e-mail who have not passed eligibility review(NER) for FSW1. It is very sad that Iafaneh came to know through mail that he has failed eligibility review.
But if you remember, he had sent last week mail to CIO to know his status. He got reply that his application is under process and will be informed shortly. Yesterday he got the reply that he is not eligibile. So what I think is CIO has replied through mail back to Iafaneh to reply his querry.
If someone( i don't really wish) receives mail without enquiry to CIO, then only we can confirm that NER's are also through mail.

Anyways Wayne, hope u receive PER this week probably on Thursday. ;D ;D

I don't know anything about Quebec but you have 3 options for the FSW program:

1) Try to choose another NOC (if you can get experience certificates) & apply in it.
2) You can apply through your spouse.
3) As you said, wait for 1-July-2011.

I sent a BD...and the letter with my returned application said that my application was received after the maximum of 1000 Complete Federal Skilled worker applications per NOC 1122 was reached.

I think they didn't even open your file, they only read the NOC on the outside envelop & returned it without opening it.

Yes you are right Canady. As his NOC had got full so his application has returned back without opening the same. And I think Harsha that you are lucky to receive back your application. Because many members in this forum have not received back their application which has been returned long back in August and September.
