Cool :) Don't worry about the destination being "Halifax", this is DHL's hub for the area. Doesn't help that there's also a George Street in Halifax as well as Sydney! :)

I find this incredible to believe. Does CIC know that a group of outside companies have access to their computer system and are selling information regarding applications to desperate immigrants?

This is not correct in my opinion, if anyone can have access to the private CIC records regarding our applications, then we all should. Why are these companies given access to the private CIC computer database and are filling their pockets with immigrant cash? Ridiculous! >:(

This is ridiculous!!! Does the CIC know about this and is this legit? Or a bunch of hackers getting access to the files and distributing them at a fee???

Ok, I downloaded the form to see what it said and there is a form to fill out which has to be sent to the CIC to release details of our files to the person mentioned. Why does the CIC allow this?

Cool. I have updated the projections tab of the spreadsheet. Current projections are 8730 total applications. Still 1122 and 3152 are the only two NOCs which are projected to fill to 1000 before 30 June 2011, however 3131 (Pharmacists) are getting awfully close at 980.

Hi.

Well the current average applications per day for 3131 is 2.656 applications per day. If you're mailing your documents in the first week of February let's say they will arrived on 15th Feb, and it'll take let's say up to 5 days to do your completeness check and get within the cap. So let's say 20th Feb.

They've already had 433 completed applications. Between today and 20th February is 74 days. So (2.656 x 74) + 433 = 630 :) So at the current rate of applications you should comfortably be able to get within the cap if you submit your documents in early February.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

wenstumped and Cam: regarding CAIPS....I don't know about the individual companies, but I believe this is how it works....you can get your CAIPS notes, but they have to be requested by a Canadian. That could be your friend or relative in Canada, OR a company located in Canada. The Government requires that you provide a signed, dated document authorizing the person or company to obtain your notes on your behalf. I did this for our friend and it cost me $5...that's all. Companies will not do this free of charge, so anything in addition to the $5 is what they make on the transaction. I am sure they have not hacked into the government system. I hope this puts your mind at ease.

Thanks Cappuccino.

Well from my observation since last 3 week i found that CIC publish date every 7 days. I found that 4/5 applications per day for 3131. so if worst case if i think then it will touch 750 -775 till First week of Feb 2011.

Lets see....

I still wish CIC/CIO would get with the times on technology.

As I've said on previous posts, they could allow you to fill in your forms totally online, pay online, and get a file number straight away. Then you use their online facility to print paper versions of the forms you filled out and sign them all and send them off.

Since you'll already BE on their system at that point they won't even have to type anything in by hand, just check all your details and submit for eligibility review. Any information they update you can see.

For security and performance reasons they probably can't link to their live database, but there's no reason why the details can't be in a staging database updated nightly.

May/June applicants who got their AORs 2 months ago still cannot access their electronic details. It's ridiculous! I think all the details are input by the bird out of the Flintstones, carving each record onto stone tablets.....
