Don't be sad or lose hope my friend. Your application may be in need for some time to be reviewed & don't forget our friend asaif, his application received 9-Jul-2010 & get his PER 29-Nov-2010 after some of our August friends.

AOR = Acknowledgment of Receipt
PER = Positive Elegibility Review

Basically it's the same thing, but PER seems more appropriate, as post 6/26 applicants are are ahead of pre 6/26 applicants with the review of their cases. Once they receive the email from CIO, they have already passed elegibility. Hope this helps.

I think the PER includes mostly the check for your points. Now the CIO will transfer your file to your visa office, and there they will check police certificates, medicals, etc. I am not sure if the employer verification is done at CIO or Visa Office. Maybe someone else can give thoughts on that.

Anyway, I assume the major steps towards your visa is done

Don't be frustrated. Reapply ASAP.
This is my suggestion.
1. What's your NOC if it's far from the cap, you still have time to arrange your docs.
2. Try to seperate your docs,attach its with clips and use the post-it to declare your docs.
