For the spreadsheet I was thinking could it be sorted into AORs received, the rejections, then the rest - like the May spreadsheet:

Not sure how easily that would be to order, asaif?

It is certainly doable! I'm going to work on it tomorrow morning.

Same day ours was cashed ;) Don't know if received date or encashment date is more important. But anyway visa office does seem relevant, but we'll be able to see better patterns over the next few days.

Do they process apps as one local VO at the time ? Or do they delay processing of eligibility checks for applicants from London ? How does that work? :o

As far as I can make out, then send the AOR when they are ready to send the file to London. The actual eligibility reviews were done some time ago (they are now on eligiblity reviews for applications received end of September, and July/August applicants are only just getting AORs). So there is some lag between eligibility review complete and getting the AOR.

I think the surges for various VOs are because they will send AORs for a particular VO in batches.

What are the chances, that only applicants w/positive eligibility are gettin email notices? My thoughts are, those who are determined to be ineligible will receive a letter by mail and refund. Opinion?

Anyone who fails the eligibility review will likely not get any email, they will get a written explanation with their application returned.

I am guessing applications with proof of relationship with a Canadian citizen might take longer. any such cases with AOR so far. also any chance of getting refund if we fail the eligibility test. any aors on 2151, on what basis are they processing the AORs.

thanks

Congrats Blueray! Atleast there is one AOR today which keep the things moving. There may have been more today, it may be just that only one member of our forum got it. I think New delhi and Manila applicants can expect to receive theirs in next couple of days, even may/june applicants had the same trend. I hope CIC speed up the things and we do not have to wait too long......good luck!

Good evening,

This forum is very busy. I just love the movement that is taking place .

Congratulations in order for all the members of the forum who have received AORs.

I had asked this question in a separate thread but I am reposting it here as I am reading different comments. If the credit card was charged is this a good sign?
I am currently on a postgraduate work permit, working in Canada, and applied with a job offer letter from my current employer...my application was received by CIO on October 22nd and my credit card was charged on October 28th. I am not sure if this is a good sign, or if CIO still returns/rejects applications after charging one's credit card. Any insights?
