Hi all,
I have a question please,
I know that to be eligible to apply we have to have at least one year work experience in one of the demand list jobs, but my question is, to achieve more points for work experience, does the experience has to be part of the same job and under the same university degree, or just being under NOC A, B or 0 would be enough for it to gain points?
Thank you

right thing is highlighted with green :)
Best of Luck!!!!!

An immigration lawyer explained this to me before:

To be eligible, you need a least one year work experience on the MI w/in the last 10 years.
To meet the work experience criteria, you only need to have work experience in NOC 0, A, B w/in the last 10 years.

Hope this info helps. :)

Wanted to say... I got my AOR today via email! Nov 25, 2010.

then letter follows with mention of transferring to VO..

Please update my status..

Well at least SOMEBODY got one! :)

Gratz. Well it's 3pm at CIC, still a few hours left for a few more AORs to come in. I am hoping for at least 4 per day for members of this thread.

Anyway, spreadsheet updated!
Wayne.

Thank you Wayne for updating the spreadsheet :)

They work rather very fast.
Is there anyway to reorganise the spreadsheet by the date of CC/BD encashment (for those whose payment was cleared/charged)?

Looks like 15th of September is the latest CC/BD charged day for the first AOR (among members of this forum who are on the list).

Congratulations blueray33.
Seems like London office will be the last to receive files.

See, my crystal ball must have something left in it, Blueray!!! Pity it isn't working closer to home as well!!!
As far as Thanksgiving in Canada - DEFINITELY NOT today....just USA, so CIO can't use that as a reason and Blueray has proved that someone is working there today!! No as I see it, there is a clear run from now until 24 December and the way offices work here, VERY little happens on the afternoon of the 24th, either it is party time or offices close down after lunch.

Same day ours was cashed ;) Don't know if received date or encashment date is more important. But anyway visa office does seem relevant, but we'll be able to see better patterns over the next few days.

For the spreadsheet I was thinking could it be sorted into AORs received, the rejections, then the rest - like the May spreadsheet:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0An8ufJRabzigdHo0M3U2VzJLNS1XWGNYQ2kwSlVmTHc&hl=en#gid=0

Not sure how easily that would be to order, asaif?

Wayne.

..so it takes only 40 to 50 days from bd encashment cc charge through first AOR. That's rather remarkable timeframe! CIC does a great job.

Well with May/June they weren't last but they were in the latter half of AORs, so another week or two delay for London and some other visa offices perhaps.

Wayne.

Thanks aacyee and twilightgirl, i was trying to figure out whether I have the chance to get an AOR or not! and congrats. and best of luck to those who have got theirs!
