Dear Alex

Please update us with one important information ....... when was your BD en-cashed... as per our records (may be your bank confirmed) ...its 19th Sept .... I seriously doubt...It has to be around 10th Sept. Please confirm. Thank you.

Cheers, Anil

Congratulations guys for all who got AORs, wish to hear about all of u soon.

it's written 9 July in my AOR (by mistake) but it's not logic as my app recevied on 28 July, so my expectation is 9 september not 19 september, regards.

That's cool ........... some more light on this topic. In Canada 'Thanksgiving Day' is celebrated on 2nd Monday of October..(this is November ;)) ..... whereas in US it's 4th thursday of November.....

And moreover 'Thanksgiving Day' is a Statutory holiday in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Yukon. A holiday in New Brunswick under the Days of Rest Act.
Not a statutory holiday in the eastern maritime provinces of Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island or in Newfoundland & Labrador.

So.... all the Best guys..... let the party continue....

Cheers, Anil

Anil, What time in IST are we expected to report to the forum to grab the news first? I understand it can happen round the clock, but off late, i'm guessing it's mostly evenings, given the time difference between us and the CIO. I will ensure i'm online to celebrate :P :P :P

Also for the October applicants, do you think we will get our AORs by the end of December?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Two of the people who were encashed on 13th September have had AORs. Hmm I am actually thinking it's more likely to be visa-office centric. May/June candidates found that some visa offices got AORs quite early on, other offices like London and Buffalo had to wait a week or two.

I think most of the currently encashed applicants will get their AORs by Christmas if they are successful.

So hopefully only a few weeks to wait for most of us!

Wayne.

Yes, Wayne, you are always right :) The New Delhi Office is the first to receive, and have received 5 (reported) AORs in just 2 days :D :D. May be they have a lighter load this year or that they have recruited more folks to lead us to Canada!

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
